The return of Mr Arsenal

Thierry has been involved for a while, hasn't he?

As for Tony Adams, not sure. Great to have legends around but seems he has failed at Wycombe, Feyernoord, Utretch, Portsmouth and in Azerbaijan. At some point he surely has to say coaching is not for him?

We should be looking to bring back all if not most of our legendary players if they want to stay in the game.

Henry, Viera, Bergkamp, Adams, Keown, Campbell, Overmars.

Got to remeber all these younger guys would have seen these guys play on TV and would be looking upto them.

Paddy should have been bought back the moment he retired but it looks like we have lost him to City.

Yeah that was a mistake to be sure, I still can't figure out why that didn't happen.

Maybe Wenger saw him as a threat?

Vieria chased the money.

Henry may be a legend but Im not sure I see enough in him to think he will be the next Pep Guardiola. MArtin Keown has always seemed to have the intelligence and understanding of the game and theres no doubting his passion, just ask van Nostrilboy.

don't think paddy chased the money, it was well know at the time he wanted to come back to Arsenal as a coach once he retired. Wenger didnt want it for some daft reason so our loss was City gain.

Think Wenger and Paddy V don't get along anymore, definitely something dodgy between them nowadays.

Would love Keown back, seems enthusiastic, willing to learn and a not-take-any-chit type.

Before claiming "our loss", you might want to check is record with NY FC.

Oh, and I'm not sure I'd want Campbell anywhere near our coaching team.
He already like to play the victim but imagine if, while managing a team a decision goes against him.
he'd see conspiracy theories everwhere....

Yes, not sure what exactly has Vieira done as a coach at NY and a whatever he was at City to prove Wenger wrong?

There's no point bringing in guys to the club just because they were good players for us. You can't just create jobs for ex-pros and pay them loads of money to "be around the club". If there's a position that needs filling and an ex-player has the qualifications to do it then yeah, it's a no-brainer, but you can't sack our existing qualified coaching staff in the hope that an ex-player can put the cones out with more passion.

Out of all of Wenger's ex players, Keown comes across by far the best. He was coaching or scouting at the club for a while wasnt he?

Exactly.
Fans are getting wound up because Arteta might join City. If he does, he would be Pep' assistant.
That position is already filled at Arsenal so not much we can do.

Never said i wanted Paddy as our manager/assistant. I said we should have given him a role at the club. He was our legendary captain and he deserved to be given a chance with us.

He wanted a role and Wenger rejected it. Couldnt give a monkeys about Arteta as hes not a legend. Just an average/good player who did well for a few season before being injured.
