It doesn't really matter when he says what he has, if them upstairs are trying to tie him down but not improving what he already has he has a right to say what he has when he wants!..
What makes people so sure he hasn't already said to his agent you know what I want and if you can get it here I'll be happy to stay?..
We all know that the club won't give much and he can better it elsewhere, but, maybe it wouldn't take to much but that little is not Cellino's way off doing things!..
Like I said, the only thing that's changed from his last club is the name, and that being the case cheap will be brought in and the best sold for the best price on offer!..
That has nothing to do with Taylor, Byram, Cook, them before or the next!..
Look at the players Southampton have lost to bigger/higher profile clubs. Tis the way it is sadly.
Nah Shaun, its not the way it is, if a club is run right it would spend money bringing a bit better in and not to many therefore saving on wages that could be used to tempt that bit better to come to us!..
It would also treat the academy the way it should be, as a means off bringing the future through the in door and keeping it there!..
When a bigger/higher profile club comes in then nobody can do much about it, but making players feel more at home and rewarding them the way they should be which usually to a player coming through or a home town lad doesn't take as much as people think because they do believe in loyalty to their town and club!..
That can be diverted when you have someone that thinks player's have to do it their way or go, tell me why more off our talent has left when it could have been held on to?..
Wouldn't have nothing to do with anybody at the club would it?..

You are 100% right. Not much one can do if a prem club comes along but at least create a climate that players want to be in. The current environment stinks. An atmosphere created by Bates and learned from by the Big C, who brought along his own nastiness to add.
