He'll probably get the job like virtually everyone else has. He's one of only a few that we haven't tried yet.
He's Chelsea through and through.
City were convenient, that's all!
He's not a legend at City, he was only there because of FFP.
Still, he did a good job for us.
He is one clever fecker that fella and a legend
He can go furrrk himself. Manage Man City, they're the last English club he played for.

Yeah, if he wants to manage Chelsea he can go furrrk himself.
"I'm a Chelsea man"
No you're not you motherfurrrker. I'd respect him more if he was just honest and said he never actually cared about Chelsea and just went wherever his career took him. If he was a "Chelsea man" he never would have joined Man City.
Be good to see Lampard coaching Chelsea.
Man City and Chelsea are not rivals.
Fourth all time appearance maker. All time top scorer. Chelsea legend whatever way you look at it.
Not a Chelsea legend in my opinion. He could have moved anywhere but Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Tottenham but he chose one of those 5 clubs. "Chelsea man" my furrrking ass.
I prefer it when you try and WUM rival fans Wahl
And yet Mourinho, who now manages Man United, is a Chelsea legend.
Hey! That's different. Mourinho was kicked out of Chelsea plus being a manager is different to being a player.
The only clubs I would say that would dent a legendary status from Chelsea are Tottenham, QPR, Arsenal and United. Maybe Liverpool but not so much really.
Certainly not a 1 year deal at Man City though
The modern day footballer will never make a decent manager, they've made their money.
Failure is just another pay day.
Should have a Bosman for managers to equal things up because I'm pi$$ed off with player and agent power.
Lampard was kicked out of Chelsea.
Dunno why playing for United would tarnish a player or manager from Chelsea's rep anyway. Yeah we were league rivals but I don't think many United fans would consider Chelsea proper rivals. Seems to be more from your side.
Circumstance plays more of a part as well, not just the club. Dennis Law played for Man City and he has a statue outside Old Trafford.
Schmeichel played for City and he's still a legend.
The modern day footballer will never make a decent manager, they've made their money.

Then where will all the future managers come from then?
But will they be any good Arab.
I doubt it.
Terry is about one that might do it.
It's Darren.
I don't see why not. The law of averages would suggest that modern footballers will make decent managers.
Maybe not the proper superstar players. But there will be modern footballers that will.
Darren
The law of averages now I get.
The future is open to question.
The likes of Giggs saying that Swansea didn't match his ambition when he's done feck all is a worry about what some of the ex players might think of themselves no matter their mentor?
Yeah that's true. Though I'm inclined to think Giggs is just trying to cover his own rep by saying this. Think it's more likely the American owners just decided to appoint Bradley instead.
In other words don't get the Giggs hype Ryan, ya hear.
If you get a championship team you should feel chuffed.
Think sister in law and then move on to the wife if that helps.
Yeah but because of who he is he will be able to get a premier league job at some point I reckon. Time will tell how he does but football is a lot to do with connections and he'll have lots of them.
