Who's celebrating?
You guys are camped on our board lambasting us because you failed to beat us at home.
You don't want to ask yourself why Koop set up so badly? Why Sturridge is a shell of his former self? Why a 40 yard screamer was the closest you got to scoring?
Instead you want to say we're celebrating a point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. Classic Scouse deflection tactics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Deflection? I'd say that celebrating the way you are is deflecting from how bad you really are. Most of us have acknowledged that we were poor tonight, but it's been the exception rather than the norm for us this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup we are poor, I'm not celebrating anything but like I said you couldn't beat us and I find it hilarious with the hissy fit you're throwing over it, now that's embarrassing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not having a hissy fit, just stating what a terrible side United have become. And you're all papering over the cracks by saying it was a Jose master class. Embarrassing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where have I said it was a master class?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By not deploring your managers inability to at least try and win the game, you are by definition celebrating the result and condoning his tactics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
fecking brilliant, I can't believe the meltdown over gaining a point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're creating this meltdown myth. I'm disappointed we dropped two points, you lot are talking like you've gained a point. Just seems odd for United fans to have this negative mentality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've said it wasn't pretty! However it was a point gained, Fergie said at times that it could prove to be a valuable point come the end of the season.
But anyway, about the match.
Fack me that was boring. We were shiite in the 1st half and U tied didn't bother us too much defensively. Everything we tried didn't come off and we resorted to playing the ball in the air. We were never going to win the aerial battle.
United played defensively from the off. You knew Jose set up for at best a draw. United will come away from that the happier of the two teams.
United fans. You spent £160m this summer, on top of of spends the last couple of seasons. Wouldn't you expect to come away with better than a draw given money spent, the manager you have and the calibre of players such as De Gea, Ibrahimovic, Pogba et al?

Did you see the Man City Derby when Kompany scored?
And how many smash and grabs did we have at Anfield? Rooney scoring in 2005 from our only chance. O'Shea scoring from a set piece. Tevez scoring from a lucky deflection going towards him. Those were our only chances in those games and we won.

I'd say you should be happier with the result rather than the performance, surely? I think it's a stretch to say we've been exposed. We had an off night, doesn't make us suddenly become a poor side.

---------------------------
But you were a different animal then, with a different manager. United were able to play poorly and win against any side. Can you honestly say the same now?
This game was similar to the game last season apart from us not scoring.
I hate our games at Anfield. Even when we win it's usually a shiiiiit game and we're too defensive. Even under Fergie.
Difference is that Fergie's teams usually managed to get the win, even when we were poor and defensive and we were a lot. I think we often go to Anfield too scared to lose regardless of who is manager. It's been that why a long time.

Who's celebrating?
You guys are camped on our board lambasting us because you failed to beat us at home.
You don't want to ask yourself why Koop set up so badly? Why Sturridge is a shell of his former self? Why a 40 yard screamer was the closest you got to scoring?
Instead you want to say we're celebrating a point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. Classic Scouse deflection tactics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Deflection? I'd say that celebrating the way you are is deflecting from how bad you really are. Most of us have acknowledged that we were poor tonight, but it's been the exception rather than the norm for us this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yup we are poor, I'm not celebrating anything but like I said you couldn't beat us and I find it hilarious with the hissy fit you're throwing over it, now that's embarrassing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not having a hissy fit, just stating what a terrible side United have become. And you're all papering over the cracks by saying it was a Jose master class. Embarrassing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where have I said it was a master class?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By not deploring your managers inability to at least try and win the game, you are by definition celebrating the result and condoning his tactics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
fecking brilliant, I can't believe the meltdown over gaining a point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're creating this meltdown myth. I'm disappointed we dropped two points, you lot are talking like you've gained a point. Just seems odd for United fans to have this negative mentality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've said it wasn't pretty! However it was a point gained, Fergie said at times that it could prove to be a valuable point come the end of the season.

Fack me that was boring. We were shiite in the 1st half and U tied didn't bother us too much defensively. Everything we tried didn't come off and we resorted to playing the ball in the air. We were never going to win the aerial battle.
