I'm so proud to be a Leicester fan. We did the impossible. We redefined football. Remember when people considered Southampton getting too 4 to be a completely unrealistic pipe dream? We went above and beyond that, achieved what Spurs and especially the joke club Liverpool tried to.
Spurs have very little to be proud of. Trying to argue that Kane, Eriksen and Alli are actually top class is all you've got. News flash: they aren't. Just an opinion. I'd have Drinky, Albrighton and Okazaki every time. EVERY time. And so would most neutrals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh and I can't believe people let this gem go....albrighton and Okazaki over Ali and eriksen!!
Even vardy over Kane is laughable as vardy is now being shown as a one season wonder
Oh sorry he said Drinky ffs

We could beat Leicester 5-0 tomorrow it still won't take the smiles off their faces and they will still have one over us in terms of the league, and quite rightly so.
Spurs fans trying belittle Leicester fans is frankly quite embarrassing, they have won the league ffs.
I also find Leicester fans saying Spurs will never win the league quite amusing and disrespectful specially when their own team went from nothing to winning it! I'm not saying Spurs will win it btw
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that's what happens when they come on our board and start wumming a much bigger, more successful and more supported club. Can't let them get away with that. It'd be like us wumming Man Utd if we ever won it

Although I do WUM Man United fans as well.
Tottenham fans saying how 'irrelevant' Leicester are just proves that we're not irrelevant. Trust me, we know what irrelevance feels like. We spent 11 years outside the Premier League. You never felt the need to call us irrelevant then, because that's exactly what we were.
Also, telling us that we'll be back in the Championship in 5 years - I'm flattered that you give us 5 years! We know what the Championship is like - it's not nice, but we made the most of it. Would I like us to go back there? No. Would it be an absolute disaster if we did? No, and we'd always remember the season we were the best team in the country.
And remember, this is only our third season back in the Premier League. Third. And yet we've achieved something Tottenham have never managed. Just let that sink in.
"Can't let them get away with that. It'd be like us wumming Man Utd if we ever won it"
-------------------------------------------------------
It's not quite the same though is it?
We've won it once so there is a bit of wumming of our main rivals for the trophy from last season because they haven't won it since 1961. This will not be in the life time of many fans.
Manchester United have won it 13 times since 1992 and, most recently, in 2013. They've won 15 PL titles and 3 European Cups since Spurs last won the title.
The difference is that TH fans are comparing themselves to the very biggest clubs in the league and come up woefully short. Leicester fans don't even try - we're just comparing ourselves with Spurs.

however my point remains. if you are comparing spurs and lesta as a club, then you come off comfortably second best.
But we do compare ourselves to a club like Derby County. They are a similar sized club with a similar sized fan base and have, incidentally, won the top tier twice since Spurs last won it.

I wonder what the odds were in 1961 for all three East Midlands clubs winning the top division before Spurs managed it again? I bet it would still be less than 5000/1

It's a bit pointless really because just like last season, you're fighting a battle you can't win
There is nothing like a game against Spurs to drag up the rivalry of last season. We have hardly heard from them on here this season, but all of a sudden when we have a game coming up they come out from under their bushel and get all obnoxious again.
I would be the first to admit that Spurs are the bigger club, they have the better players, a very good manager ( although his substitutions sometimes are a bit baffling), a young squad that over time SHOULD get better and better. So all in all Spurs have lots of positives to be happy about.
And yes Spurs are in the Top 6 clubs in the country by right, BUT they are yet to step up the next level. There will be pressure to make that step sooner rather than later, and IF there is the Poch March/April fall off in results then they may struggle to get CL football again for next season. This is a big season for Spurs, much bigger than last season. Last season nobody expected them to finish 2nd ( sorry forgot it was actually 3rd - I forgot it wasn't a 2 horse race), so they exceeded expectations. Whereas this season the expectations of everybody are a lot higher. It will be interesting to see how they perform as the season continues.
But what really grates is the "little" Leicester comments. Its insulting to call Leicester City little, we as a club have spent the last few years putting lots of things in place behind the scenes to improve the facilities, training, sports science, quality of players, fans experience etc. All of this aimed at helping our club move away from an average club to competing with the Top 10 in the PL season in, season out.
That happened last season, a lot earlier than we al expected it to happen. But this then changed our club from a "little club" to a world renown club, and I would hope that this season we will see a Top 10 finish secured along with a CL Q/F place. For me that is a success, now it wont be a success for Spurs fans but for us on our journey it will.
So lets enjoy the game, the better side will win that's all that matters, enjoy the banter but don't disrespect my club by calling us little when we are the current PL Champions.
Although one good thing is that at least we all know Sandy is still alive and giving his knowledgeable insight to us all.
And as for the post about us coming onto the Spurs board and wumming, not sure anybody has done that this season. We seem to have got over last season and concentrating on this season, unlike some of your supporters.
UTF
DDDD,
That post is just far too sensible in this thread.
Thanks Joby
I do try......
Who exactly do Tottenh compare themselves to?
Man Utd? Haha, don't be silly.
Man City? A few years ago, maybe. Now? No chance.
Chelsea? Nope, they've won the top flight countless times since Spurs last did, as well as a number of FA Cups, League Cups and the Champions League.
Liverpool? Same as above.
Arsenal? Again, no. Two FA Cups in three years and a handful of top flight titles under Wenger. Still far and away the biggest club in North London.
That would leave the likes of Everton, West Ham, Newcastle, et al. The nearly boys of football. So close yet so far.
So, on current form Spurs are certainly a top 6 club, but nowhere near a top 5 or top 4 club. At least we know our normal place in the pecking forms and don't suffer from Spurs-esque delusions of grandeur

We're an irrelevance to THFC; and they are an irrelevance to any club who has genuine aspirations of winning the league title.
We should leave it there and move on.
Leicester will win 1-0 in a boring and defensive game.

Yes we should all just stop this childishness and revert to type:
We're an irrelevance to THFC; and they are an irrelevance to any club who has genuine aspirations of winning the league title.
We should leave it there and move on.

Leicester will win 1-0 in a boring and defensive game.
