hardly the last word...in a proper league...albeit later in his career, but a very good player in the SPL

Was talking about the fact he played in the uk period. Brilliant striker, doing him a disservice in what you say. I think you forget how he turned the CL final against your team. He dragged Sweden to higher levels, his goals against Porto in Celtics final were some of the best headed finishes I've ever seen. Had everything, and was a very intelligent player.

I'm not even a Celtic fan, but recognise he was a special player.

Set up the winner if I recall. Made all the difference to barca a attacking play when he came on. They were too much for you then.

I'm a little confused by these last few comments.

If you're talking about the Moscow CL final, which I strongly suspect Sheriff is, then I have to agree with him about us losing to a Terry penalty miss following his slip.

I'm not entirely sure were Jens Lehman, Sol Campbell, or even Barcalona come into it!

Quite happy to be put right if someone can clear that up!

Suspect Baz thinks that Sheriff is a Gooner - but my point (agreed by Baz) is that Henrik Larsson was a top player, for the reasons we have both highlighted, and deserves more respect than Sheriff is giving him

BB - Not really, mate - Even leaving aside Champs League Finals - Larsson was a class act and i will argue with anyone who says otherwise (e.g. Sheriff JW Pepper)

The gooners certainly got a lesson from Barca in the final tho....as did Utd

I don't think I've said anything against Larsson either...yeah he was very good....but in an inferior league...irrespective of his Barca time...if you play for Barca it's a given that you're good in general

Dembele...getting back to the subject...is in the same boat...wasn't rated in the championship last term...hence 500k move

This would only have legs, If club had an intention of releasing Batshuayi in January (which is not the case).

Reason why Dembele rated as next big thing at Fulham is because he scored 15 total goals as a teenager in Championship which is a record.
Tammy Abraham well on course to break that with 9 goals already.

Dembele is very likely to make summer move to PL in the summer...but not at Chelsea.

Tammy coming into the fisrt team & being used would truly be a great thing....I imagine if he'd gone to Celtic he'd have done just as well as Dembele

Dembele is top class from what I've seen. I'd love him at Utd. Pace, power, skill, finishing the lad really is a top prospect.

Arguably a higher ceiling than lukaku .

Lukaku was literally doing what Dembele's doing now in a stronger league too. Right now is streets ahead.
