But, and back to the question, has there ever been a better football team, presumably in Red. The short answer is, yes. Kenny, Graham S, Hansen, Rushy, KK, Robbie, StevieG.
But that performance today, repaying Watford for the spanking they gave us last year, was emphatic.
At present, not counting any chickens, at present I repeat, a three horse race, us City and Chelsea.

Liverpool are flat track bullies, when they come up against half decent sides like Spurs and United, they were found wanting big time.
Like Arsenal they will smash the minnows, but when push comes to shove they won`t get past the really big boys.

Chelsea 2004-05 is the best side in the history of the PL, as the 95 points attests.

You're like Newcastle under Keegan.
That Chelsea side was the best ever in the premier league era.

Better than being like Stoke under Pulis
The Invincibles weren't bad either. Needless to say, this side ain't close to the best yet.

Manu, in all honesty, no wum here, how far do you reckon you'll get this season; it looks very much like a near-total rebuild is on the cards. Best example, Pogba. Played in the wrong position, efforts nullified, and he cost an absolute bomb.

Jimmy, I think we are a pretty poor team overall, though with some talented players. I believe Jose will gradually improve us, but I don't see top 4.
Regular readers on here will know how highly I rate Klopp, and I said I thought he was a perfect fit for you. Si I'm envious.
But in July I tipped Chelsea for the title, I thought Kante was a great signing, and that they have a very good squad. I don't particularly like the manager, but he is good. I've no reason to change my mind and and I have enjoyed Liverpool second, City third and and a scrap for 4th.

First time for everything
Manu, as far as Kante is concerned, fantastic player, I'm not surprised he's in the French squad. The manager, Conte is something else. Did you see the game against Everton? Wow.he is the guy Jose and, yes, Jurgen will have to beat to win the PL. the transformation in Chelsea from last season is phenomenal.
Manu will come good again, but at present you are a long way from home. The bottom line is, at present, you are no longer fantastic to watch.
