2 months isn't long nowadays in terms of negotiations. The new TV deal means a £100k ceiling is ridiculous for a club of our size irrespective of the stadium, but at the same time I wouldn't go overboard and give him £140k for example.

Hi red hope you're well son

As ledders said 2 months isn't unusual to negotiate a contract, let's hope levy and Harry can sort a deal out.

Thing is he's had 2 good seasons scoring lots of goals and if he has another this season then the likes of Man Utd will be looking at him and they will pay him £200k.

It`s Talkshart looking for something to ramble on about in an otherwise quiet international week.

Plenty of contract negotiations drag on but we never hear about most of them.

Kane will sign a new contract eventually and remain at Spurs for a very long time, despite the efforts of Talkshart and mugs like Ray Parlour to transfer him to Man Utd or Chelsea.

It`s a non story really, but Talkshyte have achieved their goal and got people talking about it.

It shouldnt be the case, but if say utd offer hom 150 grand a week i think hell go.

Apparently Sissoko is on 20 grand more a week, i wouldnt be happy considering one us a top quality striker an the other got relegated?

Lyall Thomas on twitter has branded this as complete nonsense and says that there have been no Harry Kane contract talks since he signed the last one.

He's signed up till 2020 so there's no rush plus been reported by lyall Thomas (sky sports reporter) that there been no negotiation going on at all.

United can offer what they want to Kane but are they going to pay what levy wants for him? It'll be much more than pogba that's for sure

Yes he's had 2 quality seasons so it's fair that he should be amongst our best-paid players. I don't know him to call it with absolutely certainty but I reckon his more immediate focus would be playing regularly for club and country whilst playing for a club that is a contender for honours. We've got to ensure we sign quality players to keep us up there....

Just the usual Tabloids, ex players and supporters of other clubs that have already have him playing for other clubs.

Man utd could offer him much higher wages than what we can afford but on the pitch they aren't that special anymore.
If and when Kane leaves it won't be to a rival it will be abroad.

Sorry to disappoint you Kolo........

Kane is the least likely of our entire squad to angle for a move away on the basis of coining it elsewhere.

We should put a bid in and pay him proper wages. He'd make a good impact sub from the bench if we're chasing a game or need him to hold the ball up when holding on for a win. He may prefer to join in January, rather than waiting until the summer and missing out on a trophy. Sign him up.

given how popular Giroud is...i'd say you do...until he scores of course...then he's the best thing since...etc etc

Giroud would be a great option from the bench too. Both I suspect would be looking first team football however and therefore would move down not up in the event of a move.
