Id go for
--------------------Schemeichal
Byram------Jansson------Kisnorbo-------Taylor
------------Johnson------------Kilkenny
Snodgrass--------Hernandez------Gradel
-----------------------Beckford
Would have Howson and Delph in for Johnson and Kilkenny.
Wouldn't have Kilkenny anywhere near my side
Did think it strange, was a good L1 player, not Championship level for me.
Would probably have McCormack in there instead of Beckford, although Wood and Beckford with Gradel and Snodders would be devastating in this league.
I'd probably go for:
Kasper
Ayling Bartley Jansson Taylor
Snodgrass Delph Johnson Gradel
Hernandez (or Ross)
Wood
Ideally i'd have Beckford in there but it wouldn't be as effective and I'd also like to have Ross in there too so maybe he plays instead of Pablo
Beckford would get into my side all day long.. Howson too
Gelderd - your side would be top 2 in this league, we'd be going up.
Well there is one there that trips over the ball a lot but scored more goals!..
Difficult to work out why the more goals you score the more points you get!.
Wood to score 20 this season!..
That's 1 more than the carthorse had in half a season ffs!.
Yep all, in the Championship!.
Green
Byram knisbro jannson Taylor
Gradel howson delph snoddy
McCormack wood
reason for green is kasper I thought was dreadful second part of that season and if basing it on when they played for us not what they did elsewhere in their career
And Ross was miles better than what Pablo is for us now.
Promoted with record points and over 100 goals
Germany
Football isn't black or white, it's about the bigger picture
becchio way behind wood beckford ross, in terms of what he gives to the side
And Ross was miles better than what Pablo is for us now.
---
in the end and as a whole he was, but lets not forget his first season, was awful... came back stronge though
Yup played out of position and wrongly used
agree, awful start to his Leeds career, then wow, arguably best forward we've had for years... though I got a soft spot for Beckford
LIW, say whatever you want, goals are the name of the game and he scored them!..
I dare say he would have scored with this lot as well!..
Smoking
So did I, his pace created a lot for others which went by unnoticed by many
Germany
Again, your missing the point it's not about goals, it's about the OVERALL game
Odd, I always thought the object off football was to score goals, the more you get the bigger the chance off winning, and the more you win the more points you get!..
I don't think I'm missing any point apart from the one that people are happier when our strikers don't score enough!
Would take Beckford four or five chances to score every game. One of the most profligate players that I have witnessed live
Schmeichel
Byram Kisnorbo Jannson Parker
Delph Howson
Snodgrass Hernandez Gradel
Wood
For me, have Morrison and McCormack amongst the subs, too.
Come on Lubo
That utter ball, your saying he had over 150 chances a season
Beckford got 84 goals in 153 games. Lubo thinks he should have got 500 goals instead.
Strikers miss chances, but it was more about how he always made the right run, always was in the right space. That was his talent more than anything. Made fantastic runs which was why he was always the one getting on the end of chances, and scored the winner in our 2 biggest games.
There was a time where our team was just McCormack.
He was immense.
Wood is nowhere near Beckford/Ross.
Beckford always need 6 chances, he always scored the 7th. Always

What a load of rubbish. He was wasteful some days yes, but he was overall a very good striker for us. Never properly understood this '5 chances to score' rubbish.
Load of rubbish Shaun
As usual
So what your saying is he should have scored 100 goals a season !!!!!
