Yes please. To china and Singapore that is

Seems like it going to go ahead.

I'm just so bored of caring about ownership of the club. First time in 5 years the football has been exciting again, really hope this guy is the real deal and doesn't rock the boat.

I can tell a mile away he is an amateur and has no money, he should stay away, this is exactly how GFH did business, it doesn't work. He will mess up the season and then the club again

I told you there were no chinese investors, there never will be. The reality is Chinese people dont want to buy into Leeds, we have too much of a toxic brand. Better to stick with Cellino who is a professional who actually has money and knows about football. Not these wannabe chancers who keep leading us up the garden path

Agree. I think in this case Cellino is the better of two evils. We are doing well with him at the moment. Cannot see what he gains by selling us right now. If he were to put ten million in January then he would get it back tenfold with promotion.

Anyone that thinks Cellino is going to spend £10M of his familys money is smoking some pretty strong stuff.
Rad is a professional businessman who has built his business in and around football. IMO he can only be good for the club. He's been in the background for a while now and it can't be a coincidence that the nutter has been very quiet during that time.

I never said that I think that he would. Just that he is in a position to do so.

Might not mention the football club, but didn't someone say that they weren't just thinking about football but Leeds as a whole....

If you are letting 5th in the league cloud your judgement on MC you shouldnt.

he needs to go regardless.

I'd be surprised if radrizzani isn't thinking about long term investment into the club, with premier league football being centre stage...

It doesn't matter what we think of this or previous owners, but any clever person with an ounce of football sense would see that LUFC is a very good bet in English football. He's already stated that, so why mess around with 50% here and there ?. If they have the money they would give it gladly for a football club like Leeds United, they are not going to buy much better outside the premiership. It would probably stay 50/50 ownership,as each party knows they cannot do it alone. I'm not sure if any Chinese are interested but he may have a great idea how to sell the LUFC product to the far east, but aren't they all trying to do that now anyway.

agree best, the amount of times Leeds fans discuss owners is madness, it comes up everytime.. thankfully we are playing some decent stuff and we can actually get on with being football fans and not wannabe politicians....

everytime we get a new owner or some take over I always think the best, or hope, which ever you prefer, its never really worked out that well but what gets me is that some Leeds fans always like to point out that they were right... like they were pleased it hasn't gone well, I just don't understand who some Leeds fans can take pleasure in being right that our great club is suffering.... I'm not sure this happens with any other club? - or does it? - not as much I guess!!

wouldn't just be nice to get an owner in who spends some money on the squad, but not too much that we can't afford, keeps himself in his office and does some good business??

maybe then we can all stop talking about him and maybe watch a bit of football

"Under Cellino, Leeds have kept their costs down and actually made a profit of £6.7 million in player transfers over two years."

Oh really, and we still see a team with no midfield, true leaders, and struggle in games that they should be dominating!..

Leedsforever, you telling people we should stay with a disrespectful moron, the one that seems to have found Bates's black hole, that money has been saved while selling our best and bringing in the next!..

The reason he is 'messing' with only 50% is because Cellino won't sell 100%. He wants to hang on to see if we can go up to the Prem this season and get his big payday. Once we get there he knows he has to sell up because the PL will not sanction him to be a significant person at the club.

There are Chinese investors out there who want to buy 100% but MC will not deal on that basis. I heard they were hoping to go back to the table about a month ago but nothing appears to have happened after that - so I assume MC declined their offer or he just peed them off again.

As long as the new guy has enough money to invest in the current squad (turn loans into buys) and keep our heads above water until promotion (when the club should be self sufficient if run correctly) then I think he will be accepted by the majority.

It's looking like it will go through soon but I would never put my house on it until the fat lady sings. Paper talk can turn out to be rubbish - as we know from MC being quoted a few weeks back saying he wasn't selling to AR.

Bottom line is he has to be better than MC and as long as he can keep him quiet and out of the picture we have a chance this season.

... and MC has to sell to pay back his family business. He's screwed up big time at Leeds and needs to get funds fast.

This way he pays back what he owes but clings on to the club until the summer, hoping for promotion.

Hopefully he does to Cellino a Cellino, says ok, we'll do a 50/50, but you pay on the squad to get them up, if you succeed you'll get your big pay day, if not you get what you have coming and we'll make it good next season!..

I wonder if Cellino would play along?.

Leeds fans who actually think Cellino is a better option than Rad. Dear oh dear oh dear.

That was me Harj.... but what do I know?

Leeds is a city ripe for investment. We need a new airport for starters and the Aire Valley is a prime place to develop one.

I was told that those interested in the club last year were also interested in developing the city. What a shame we ended up with an owner who wouldn't deal with them. Maybe the City will?

I know that consortium was pretty closely linked with the guys that Tappin was working with. I wonder why he's gone so quiet?

I really do think it all leads back to MC not wanting to sell 100% at this stage and AR is having to be clever and just bide his time a little. It's promising that he seems to have the option for the other 50% next summer.
