Monk wants a three year contract, not that they mean much nowadays!

If radrizzani is thinking about bringing his own management team, then there's only 2 scenarios I can see for monk, depending on how well he does this season, 1) is carry on as manager with a 3 year contract or 2) work as part of the management team....if radrizzani is going to bring a management team in I can't see it being a hockaday/Lewis type team it'll be more like maldini/costacurta type of team IMO but with a recognised manager albeit Italian wonder if zola would be interested ?

At least lets hope he's not the hockaday type.....

At the moment there is movement upwards in the division, stability in the squad, some better football played, and a bond we haven't seen for a long time.,plus the proof that the crowds are ready to come back in large numbers. Why would anyone want to change that at present that understands running a football club. All that is required,is that anyone buying the club should just do what we wanted the present owner to do and give Monk some financial backing and another three year contract. The old saying goes "if it's not broke don't fix it" If we start struggling under Monk, only then do we need to change things. If we think that a new owner would change the new found optimism in the club unessessary we have to ask ourselves is he the right man to run our club just now. My view is that anyone taking over the club would make sure we got to the prem first and had at least one season there and secure staying there, and then see what would be required to challenge the top.

As Kev says, keep it simple and leave Monk and Pep to get on with it and back them in the January window with CB loans to permanent and a good midfield. Anything else would be daft.

When Rads said he was going to bring in his own management team, I'm pretty sure he was referring
to a team of execs that would oversee the running
of the club day-to-day off the pitch.

I do not believe he was referring to replacing Monk.
Part of me thinks he was involved with Monk's hiring.
At least, he was aware and blessed it.

I'm hopeful that once this goes through, Monk gets
a new contract as does Charlie.

LIW, I think I'm seeing something different in Kev's comment then you!.

Me personally I would keep Monk and his crew in place, like people are seeing and saying there is stability and a sense off moving in the right direction, its as if someone has super glued Cellino's fingers to his tongue, the silence makes me nervous!..

Monk and his team in with the loan player's made permanent and backing in January!..

Here's hoping its all sorted by January!.

not forgetting that monks contract runs out in june, therefore giving radz a choice....

It also gives Monk a choice, if he continues the way he is others will be looking!..

Would be hard for him to say no if the right offer comes in!..

"not forgetting that monks contract runs out in june"

Isn't he on a 12 month rolling contract?
