We've definitely had gamechanging players in the squad since the Invincibles.

Another 2-3 solid seasons from Sanchez, and I'd be willing to rank him alongside RvP and Fabregas.

Since invincible the best player...I completely agree.

He is impacts are not only due to numbers, but leadership, the courage, determination he brings in and which rubs off on other players...No one can match that post invincible...

Fabregas the guy need the team to be adapted around him to success and even so was lazy and din didn’t turn up when it mattered. RVP injury prone mess who have one good season..

Fabregas and RvP carried squads far weaker than our current one, over a significant number of seasons, making us look quite decent in the process.

I know some sections of our fan base would love to hate them, but them two lads were massive for us.

Cesc was a legend at Arsenal, RVP was massive too but Sanchez IMO is better. Work rate, goals, lifting the team, he has it all and more.

Sanchez twice the player Fabregas was and three times the player RVP was. In my opinion.

Fabregas was a good player and kept in line under the guidance of Wenger. His dark side was on show sometimes though, but he was reined in. Since he has left us he has slowly turned more to the dark side and snide actions like his slap yesterday show what a horrible little cant he really is.

Sadly Wenger has lost his way a bit as well though, slowly turning into Scrooge. Bah humbug.

Yes he is in a class of his own. Probably the only Arsenal player who would get into our team even as we're playing now.

So what was Wenger doing for two years playing Giroud in the striker position instead of Alexis?

Gotta say.....even as a spurs fan...when he sat the keeper down was pure class.

Since the invincibles, possibly. He still has a long way to go to match Bergkamp though

Old enough and lucky enough to have witnessed real legends play for Arsenal. Don't get me wrong, Sanchez oozes quality but it takes more than the sporadic demonstration of an ability for a player to be defined as a legend. You need to learn you Arsenal history.
