As I wrote in my recent article. He's for the future, not today.

I haven't seen anything to suggest he is one for the future either, but you are correct in the he certainly shouldn't be playing currently

He reminds of of De Gea.

Useless in his first season but hopefully his career goes the same way.

So essentially, what you are saying is that up to this point, he looks useless

Yes finishing was off as well not reaaly good enough.

De Gea was still able to make saves despite having a physical problem. This flop lacks everything.

There were a few failures today which cost us 2 points today and got us a really S*ite result. These were :-
Giving away a free kick unnecessary and failing to save it. Failing to deal with a high ball (This must be Matip's first error that has cost us). Failing to get most of our shots on target, yes lots of shots but if you are not getting most of them on target all you are doing is giving possession away.

Dr gea was stupid but his shot stopping was immense even at a young age. Karius is useless in every key department for goalkeeping.

Agreed, a complete pantomime between the woodwork. Of course we can look forward to the legendary Klopp intransigence when it comes to replacing him, and this could be our achilles heel this season.

With Karius, I think it's going to get worse before it gets any better. Our team have yet to learn, esp in the first half, that you can't walk the ball into the back of the net. WHU were deservedly winning at half time.

Our skipper. What do you make of him? Is he going backwards?

Given that Klopp dropped Mignolet when Karius was back from Injury despite Mignolet not getting much wrong this season he can't really now drop Karius. He might be better off looking to sell Mignolet in the summer and bring in a top keeper however I am talking about someone better that Joe Hart and can play the way we do.

Jimmy were have you been sir, didn't see you on the match thread.

Karius for me isn't up to it - forget age , experience etc

Henderson was poor today and you're right for the last half a dozen games he back to his former average at best self

If I genuinely thought Karius was good or is perhaps one for the future, I would say so but certainly at this moment in time I can't defend his performances. I don't rate him - he's not as good as Mignolet right now.

However, I thought the same about De Gea and he proved me wrong, for Karius's sake I hope I'm wrong about him too.

Why can't he now drop Karius? I don't understand your point. I think it's detrimental in the long run if Karius stays in goal and costs us more points.

so its Karius and Henderson this week who will it be next week ? Matip or Clyne. Matip made one error if you call it an error and one pass. unbelievable

It's been Karius every week because he's Shiite. Henderson has been decdnt, some good games, a few average games. Karius has been shocking in every game.

could you do better ?

Karius was so lethargic coming across for Payet's free kick..

Part of the problem is that he knows he's undroppable

Klopp told Mignolet he was number 2 behind Karius is he going to tell him now he suddenly has confidence in him now because Karius has made a few errors? Mignolet had not made any real errors this season before being dropped so it must of been Klopp's was a lack of confidence in him as the number 1 from previous season and Klopp's view on him as a Goalie. Some of this is likely about bringing his own man in Karius in, Klopp's view on Karius's potential and I suspect Klopp will persist with him unless he's making a lot of mistakes.

Sometimes you have to admit when you're wrong and have the bottle to change your mind when you can see Plan A isn't working. I hope Klopp will change his mind, I would in his position.

He has the worst shots to save ratio in the whole league. Bournemouth had five, four went in. West Ham had two, both went it. Hull had one in September, it went in. Pattern developing.
