looks spot on to me.
really need roofe to get on the end of things in the box.
Looks about right unless Wayne Entwhistle or Tresor Kandol are available up front.
I'd go with that. What's great now is Monk's ability
to switch formations and tactics while using the entire
squad (bar Dave & Murphy obviously). Impressive.
tbh i wouldnt be overly shocked to see grimes alongside vieira just because hes done well as sub last two games and his passing more expansive than bridcutts.
Don't like Doukara as a lone striker.
well unless wood or ant is fit that what it gonna be.
you dont like doukara wide but thats worked so lets hope it continues.

Would rather have Wood, definitely, but I feel Douk has certain qualities that would make him a good lone striker. He has strength, holds the ball up, links up well and is a smart player. The players around him need to support him well.

Never said that I don't like him wide. Don't like him as a winger. He's a good inside forward.
Seen Doukara play the lone striker role enough to know that he drops off too much and doesn't have he energy to close down as much as Wood does. If Monk gets him playing better then fair play to him.
I think Monk already has helped make Douk better.
And I reckon there's more in that tank.
There's a difference between helping someone play well as a midfielder and doing it as a striker.
Douk for a big man cant seem to head the ball well which makes him ineffective as a lone striker for me.
Reading completed 1% (7) of their 620 attempted passes into leeds penalty area last night.
30% of the game played in readings third to 26% in Leeds.
lol talk about boring football
I'd play Roofe further forward alongside Doukara and Put Dallas left and bring Bridcutt or Phillips into midfield.
---------------------Green
Ayling-----Bartley-----Jansson------Taylor
Sacko-----Viera------Bridcutt/Phillips---Dallas
---------------------Roofe
------------------------------Doukara
I can't see Monk going with two up front on Saturday so if Wood is injured it will be Doukara playing as a lone striker whether we think it's a good option or not.
FWIW I think we could go 442 with Briddy and Vieira in midfield with Doukara and Roofe up front. Can't see it happening though. No need to revert back to the 442 when the 4231 has been successful.
Going to have to play it out wide and cut back in all game if Wood is out, we don't have another player who can fill that lone position, desperate for some back up in that sense.
If Wood is out then we need to scrap the 1 up top target man as we don't have one. We are at home to a team about 13 places below us soooo we should be capable of being a bit more offensive than we were Tuesday
