Interesting about Zlatan. Imagine if we had Ruud now though - vastly superior finisher to Zlatan and offered pretty much the same level of hold up play but with more running in behind. Supreme striker.

The ridiculous thing about Ronaldo is he ia rarely that good for large parts of the game yet almost always scores, its his off the ball movement that sets him apart.

You may think Messi is better and that is fair enough but to say Messi is MUCH better than ronaldo is absolute nonsense. I personally prefer ronaldo but obviously I have my United glasses on there but they are very close and both wonderful players and the best we have seen in a generation.
Ronaldo has won 3 out the last 4 ballon d'ors so to say Messi is much better for is well.....laughable
What a player he is. Messi needs to wait to reclaim his crown. I'm sure he'll get it back at some point but these two are just borderline ridiculous right now.

Scores more, assists more, wins more individually and as part of a collective.
Has a better footballing brain, better passer, better dribbler better control. You could play messi in any position bar defence or goalkeeper and he'd still be the best on the pitch.
I feel Messi and Ronaldo standards have destroyed the minds of the average footy fan.
Hazard (last season aside) averages 20 goals a season, for a winger who only shoots if its the best option that's very good but im constantly told he doesn't do enough

How does a player who has scored over 20 goals in a single season once average 20 goals a season?
We probably won't see a better player than either in next 40-50 years. That's how good they are.
Neymar, Suarez, Aguero and co are bleeding awesome. Any other era they'd be dominating football. Just unlucky to be around with these two.
