Lallana is having a good season. Dele looks to be a great player. Big difference. Lallana was average as hell last year and the yr before.
They are on a similar level atm. Alli has more potential being younger.
Lallana is 28 and should be at his peak in terms of playing level.
Dele is 20 and still learning his craft, but learning fast. I would expect him to be a top top player by the time he reaches 28.
And also comparing them is illogical, they play in different roles and comparisons therefore become difficult.
Having said that I like Lallana, think he would have been a great signing for us. Never mind you got him and we got Dele!

They're very different players in terms of style, like Alli doesn't have the technical abilty with the ball at his feet Lallana does, in terms of how he turns to create space fro himself, not many in the league do it as well as Lallana.
But Alli has great timing to arrive in the box, that's why he's scoring so many goals, he's got technical ability of course especially his ball striking, but he won't keep hold of the ball as well as Lallana especially in tight spaces.
Alli return for his first 50 goals is exceptional, and he seems liek a great young lad, I'd say he's a managers dream, unbeliveable potential at 20, very exciting player for Spurs.

Not true, he was offered to Liverpool first by Karl Roberts. Rodgers wanted to put him in your Academy structure for a year to develop.
Karl Robinson advised Dele that he would be better off staying at MKDons if that was case, especially as Liverpool would not loan him back.
Paul Mitchell stepped in because he knew Dele from his time at MKDons & the rest is history!

Well played by Spurs, they did more to get him and he signed, no complaints if we didn't do enough to get him.
Not quite true.....dele himself has said he was due to meet Gerrard at LFC one of his idols but Gerrard was asleep...he had a game coming up...the meeting never happened and spurs nipped in.
Lallana should be miles better he's basically in his prime. As it goes Alli is better than him by a mile.
Lallana has had one good season. This is his golden patch. Like vardy last year.

Alli has scored 7 goals in 4 games...if anything, THIS is the golden patch.
Alli will be a very good player, but at the moment, there isnt an English player playing at the level of Lallana....he has been excellent
