probably one of the best players at the club, if he could be bothered.

my biggest issue with him is his laziness, even some of his fouls are lazy.

All his fouls are lazy. When have you ever seen him crunch a tackle/lay down a marker? Never. His fouls are all trips as he couldn't be bothered track a player. He's a lazy lanky streak of oddness. Away now Nir, now Nir, now Nir now....etc

he doesn't play ridgers system and its as simple as that

he is never behind the ball when you need him to be which exposes the centre halves

One of the worst and most disinterested player I've ever watched wear the hoops.

That's what you said originally so I assumed you meant from the past.

And McGregor isn't exactly much better if better at all.

More direct and puts in more of a shift of course but in terms of use of the ball, absolutely not as good as Bitton for me.

worth mentioning however that he has already managed 10 times what barrie mckay has in the game and yet doesnt appear t be worth 7m....

I'm not a huge McGregor fan either tbh, but he gives 100% and has provided some cracking assists and lovely thru balls already this season.

It's his finishing that severely lets him down, and sometimes his decision making.

Would have him in the team over Bitton everyday of the week.

see i dont think he does give 100%

I seem to remember rodgers going mental at him for not tracking back - and i thought tht was a big weakness at time last saturday - he didnt close the gaps in our midfield
