However, if there was something to the story, I'd think twice about crowing too much about it. Costa's going to China for silly money would most likely start a landslide of similar departures from all quarters of the EPL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why?
Firstly the Chinese clubs are limited to 3 foreigners, so the numbers who can go is very limited.
Secondly, like when Russia got cash rich, it will mainly be South Americans and African players going.
Sorry, 4 non Asian players.
64 in total...

He will be doing a lot of sulking on the bench of City, Barca, Real or Bayern soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or he can chose to be happy at Chelsea
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Considering he is far better than Hazard, yes he would less likely find himself on the bench. No chance of him going to Chelsea though, so keep admiring from afar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when? First time I hear about this !! Yes, he'll come to Chelsea, thus fullfilling his dream of playing alongside maestro Hazard

There are lots of Chinese clubs out there... and a lot of them would surely clear out some of the foreign players they already have to make room for some big EPL players.
The second part is little more than a baseless assumption. Although, last time I checked Alexis Sanchez is South American.
16 clubs, 64 spots
21 of the 64 are already taken up by Brazilians. That's a third just from one country in South America.

Don't you think they tried before signing the players they already have on big contracts?

But you don't know a thing about the inner workings of the Chinese League...
Looks like he wants to leave. Think Bayern would be the best destination for him.
Didnt see the game live, which is rare for me. I'm watching it on Sky's game of the day and I'm surprised how little Sanchez did after the radio making out he threw a fit and then an article on here. All he did was walk off muttering to himself.

Unlikely, China are building a league with a view to developing a competitive national team. The Chinese president is a man on a mission. He wants just enough of the world's best, to teach and develop Chinese players. This is not a man who will allow his vision to go the same way as the EPL (Flooded with foreigners to the point of stifling home grown players). As much as they're kicking silly money around right now, too many players coming, won't be allowed to happen.
He's 12 months from being able to talk to foreign clubs for a free transfer in summer 2018.
If he doesn't renew in next few months, Arsenal have to cash in. Players get their way in the end.
Sanchez is a big baby about being taken off. Always spits his dummy about it, even when he's injured
For him though, I think he's genuinely got a "I got things to do, I can rest when I'm dead" mentality. He's got games to win, money to make and school etc to go home and build back in Chile. My only issue with it is the fact he had a teammate returning from long term injury and two youngsters on the bench. As well as just having been off a week himself. Aside from minding he doesn't injure himself, I feel he should have been happy to come off to benefit any one of 3 players at least. As a star senior player, it's almost your duty at 4 goals up, to go sit down and give the kid a taste of top flight action for the last 20.
Though for all this fuss about his sulking at coming off, I'm far more concerned with the visible signs of frustration with his teammates whilst he's playing. A big flaw I've noticed in him, is he does blame a dry spell in goals on the players around him. Even when he's the one stuffing things up. That's a bigger worry than wanting to play every minute.
