Nothing is impossible..anything COULD be true...it's not even 'the idea of a God' that is the most unbelievable thing, rather people apparently KNOWING there is one on faith alone and demanding respect for it or expecting it to be treated in the same way as other theories: You don't even think it's a theory, you see it as fact .
(forgetting that in science those two things are effectively the same....or were before it was twisted)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's more complicated than that.
I look at God and Gods laws differently.
I abide by Gods laws because I think morally I haven't found anything that compares to it.
I believe there is a God because I think that their is ample evidence to suggest the universe is a product of intelligent design.
That's how I chose Islam.
Through time other things emerge that strengthen faith that you can't understand yet. For instance you have never experienced reading the Quran in its original Arabic or the serenity of Islamic prayer.
I can't give you the fossilised remains of an angle to prove that they exist but there are other ways to believe in such things that you haven't tapped into yet.

If you want to use that tit-fer-tat argument then George Bush claimed he was on a mission from God when he launched the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A mission from God to give Iraqis freedom and democracy.
All that this proves is that you shouldn't blame violence on particular ideologies.
Logically speaking, if people were fair in their criticism of religion producing violence they'ed achnowledge that wars waged for freedom and democracy have killed far more people than any religion.

Intelligent design? ample 'evidence' ?

How it patronising to say you haven't got the full picture because you haven't experienced certain things. I think maybe you are taking things a little personally....
Morals we've discussed over and over again. I've proved that Islam sought the end of slavery 1400 years ago when the idea was pure madness.
We've also discussed the criminal justice system and the military rules of engagement.
In my opinion it's these things are far more ethical than current practises adopted by so called democratic nations. If you disagree with that then fine.
I said ample evidence in the intelligent design of the universe, I pasted an article earlier on containing quotes from scientists about the probability of a creator. You should read it so I don't have to repeat my self.

In response to your claim that scientists believe in both aliens and the possibility we live in a Matrix style simulation.
Even if there are studies into both the respective hypotheses have not been proven in either case. Not that I can recall studies into either. I assume you can?
Kung Fu
I was responding to this claim by you;
"Do you personally believe that it's possible that Multpiple universes exist in which another version of you is living a different reality. Do you believe its possible that we are living in a simulated universe or that we could have been created by aliens"
Yes Dr Hawkins suggests Black Holes are the pathway to other, or multiple, universes.
He does not suggest this leads to the possibility of "another version of you is living in a different reality" or that "we are living in a simulated universe or that we could have been created by aliens"
You claimed Science believes in both.

"Do you personally believe that it's possible that Multpiple universes exist in which another version of you is living a different reality."
According to our best interpretations of quantum theory, the likelihood is that there is a 'near' infinitude of universes in an ever more quickly growing multiverse, the result of a branching occurring at the point of quantum decoherence.
The 'Many Worlds' Theorem was first posited by Hugh Everett only a few decades ago and has grown in popularity as the only really viable explanation for the Measurement Problem.
A very significant proportion of theoretical physicists now support the theory, including I believe Prof Brian Cox (and myself ).
