Reading about why Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is still here despite Utd saying they wanted him back and saying they weee disappointed how much playing time he was getting.
Evidently when he came here we paid a loan fee equivalent to his annual salary. When Utd wanted him back Wolves requested a refund of 50% of his salary for the second half of the season. Utd refused to refund a penny so he stays with us
With all those cup games on the way to the final he might even get a game.
i'd be tempted to have him sweeping the stands and making tea just to send a message back to united to go feck themselves.
don't blame CBJ for this, but have to wonder why the richest football club in the world is quibbling over paying the wages of one of their own players. especially after spitting the dummy out over the way wolves have treated him? well done man u, you must have made borthwick-jackson feel like sh!t knowing you wouldn't shell out half a million or less to get him back training and at the club that's supposed to have his best interests at heart.
Fair play to fosun for not being cowed though
presumably fosun sent man united a post card saying
"we am considerably richer than yow"

It certainly shows Utd are more interested in their cash than in the well being of one of their young players
It really is a bizarre situation if what is being said is true?!?!
