Rambo is pretty brutal. Perhaps the most violent film I've seen but not the most disturbing.

Think Paul Verhoeven's Robocop and Starship Troopers sh/t all over Rambo for violence.

A Serbian Film

everybody who has ever seen this film will suggest this, those who suggest anything else, haven't seen A Serbian Film
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought films like Eraserhead or Clockwork Orange were f*kd up films until I saw Ken Park. I thought that was really f*kd up until I started to watch The Serbian Film, nothing is more f*kd up the Serbian Film. No amount of bathing can make one feel clean after watching that. I couldn't watch the entire film. That film is as amoral as anything ever filmed.

Read the plot for A Serbian Film on Wikipedia yesterday after it was mentioned on here. One to miss I think.

7 pages and no mention of "Blue Velvet"?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Love that film but it's quite tame by David Lynch's standards. Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and especially INLAND EMPIRE are far more "out there". Hopper's character in Blue Velvet is disturbing but there are only one or two graphic scenes and the plot is coherent on a first watch. Unlike those others I mentioned!
