Oh I forgot, City removed the stars from their badge because the owners thought only World Cup and European/Champions league winners should have them.

Maybe this will help

The technical area
The technical area relates to matches played in stadiums with a designated
seated area for team officials and substitutes as outlined below:
• the technical area should only extend 1 m (1 yd) on either side of the
designated seated area and up to a distance of 1 m (1 yd) from the touchline
• markings should be used to define the area
• the number of persons permitted to occupy the technical area is defined by
the competition rules
• the occupants of the technical area:
• are identified before the start of the match in accordance with the
competition rules
• must behave in a responsible manner
• must remain within its confines except in special circumstances, e.g. a
physiotherapist/doctor entering the field of play, with the referee’s
permission, to assess an injured player
• only one person at a time is authorised to convey tactical instructions

I think a couple of the points toward the end might be relevant

Highland... Wagner himself apologises for the incident.. Yet Garry with a Monk on still claims to be blameless yet he deliberately leaves the TECHNICAL AREA to barge Wagner... End of...

Couldn't give a flying fook tbh

Maybe Monk was just trying to get the over excited numpty to settle down so the game could get started again, put an end to the time wasting ?

Did you watch the game? Wagner ran out of his technical area through Monk's and onto the pitch. Then ran back through Monk's area. Monk never left his. Wagner is a good manager as is Monk, but you have to agree he was a complete di ckhead today.

In Wagner we trust... UTT.

Monk did leave his area peak. It's hard to see on the tv shots but there are clips doing the rounds... he stepped outside to check him... Understandable but petulant.

In a car accident, insurance companies will determine that the parties share responsibilities.

For me and I suspect most neutrals:

Whiner 75%/25% Monk or perhaps 80%/20%.

Lets break it down:

- Whiner enters field of play without permission. This is classified as "behaves in an irresponsible manner" and should be an ejection from the sideline.
- Whiner comes back towards his technical area and walks towards Monk, apparently making comments directed towards Monk.
- There are allegations that Monk stepped forward (which we can see he does) out of his technical area (I have not seen that evidence yet).
- Whiner grabs the lapels of Monk's jacket.

Any disagreement on those points?

Referee failed to anticipate the clash which was quite inevitable. In my opinion, the 4th official should have taken care of this.

I only saw the Sky coverage Milky. Couldn't see him stepping out, as opposed to running through both technical areas. If what you say is right, then Monk was petulant. But Wagner was still a di ckhead and started the whole melee, which marred an otherwise great local derby

Champers, off subject, where would we be now I'd we'd had Brown all season?

I did think about that today mate. Can't just be a coincidence that since he came in we've suddenly looked like finally having a cutting edge?

It's pure conjecture of course but it's not beyond the realms of possibility to say he'd have won us enough points to be in the top two. He's here now though and is going to be absolutely key to anything we achieve.

Monk left his technical area and walked in front of Wagner to cause a deliberate collision.

Of course if he hadn't done it the whole stupid thing wouldn't have been an issue so regardless of whether Monk did something deliberately or not, Wagner has to shoulder a lot of the blame and if he gets a touchline ban then so be it, I wouldn't argue.

But it's way too harsh to label him a di ckhead. I get it's annoying to see as an opposition fan, but you know 100% had you scored a 90th minute winner and Monk had teararsed down to the Leeds end celebrating you'd love that passion. And we'd hate it and call him disrespectful and a ginger tosspot...It's the highs and lows of the game we all love and how it really matters to us. To see that level of emotion from your gaffer is brilliant. So he's not a di ckhead, really. A bit tapped in the head, but nothing more.

Well stated.

It seems to me, judging by this thread and others that the whole of Huddersfield is pretty classless and it's rubbed off on their manager.

Fair play you won. You played better second half.

Enjoy your victory and try but at least try do it with a tiny bit of class.

We'll still finish above you 'cause it's what we do

Just a simple case of "what goes around..."

Class and respect?????

After the Sutton humiliation, monk admitted that he isn't a good loser.

Wagner was out of order but it is clear that Monk deliberately barged in to him - technical area, or not.

To me, that shows neither class, nor respect - merely that he is a bad loser.

Monk is in no position to take the moral high ground here.

Losing to a lucky goal in the last minute is painful but the best team won and just ignoring Wagner's antics and letting the authorities deal with him would have shown much more class and respect.
