Well done India, it was an easy day at the office for our boys. Effortless century by Kohli..Hope he does score min 200.

Good warm up for the Australia series this test is. Probably a tough decision for the coach and Kohli today in dropping Nair even after making 300 against England. Good knocks from Vijay and Pujara as well. Kohli just being himself too.

Did you see his DRS appeal for LBW today off Kohli? He middled the ball for faack sake and he sent it for review

Did you see him appeal for a caught behind off Pujara? It was about 30cm away from anything at all

India are invisible at home. We can play a 3 rd string team and still win. Next target for kohli should be triple ton against aus

posted on 10/2/17

Why didn't Kohki play a 3rd string then against this weak opposition then?

Because we respect Bengali machlee mere Kashy Bhai. They are delicious my frnd and u may try someday

India a team that played Bangladesh could have won by an innings if that warm up up match was played for 4 days. Fact is I am now more interested in seeing India play away now. We are too good at home

Kohli really has stepped up another level since he became Captain.

Also the good thing is we have had a fair bit of rotation. This should give us no excuse that player a didn't have enough match practice

Glad Rahane's back. He's our best player for overseas conditions. I think We've got a solid top order, just need Rahul to be more consistent.

Vijay as solid as ever, Pujara finding his rhythm again (hopefully that shuts out Rohit Sharma), Kohli and Rahane playing well.

Four double hundreds in four test series' for Kohli. Lets hope he makes it five in a challenge against the Aussies. Think we will exploit their young players' inexperience in the subcontinent quite easily tbh.

The batting depth is quite strong and varied now - we should have all bases covered for a strong overseas challenge as well. Under Dhoni, for so long we used to play an extra batsmen simply for the sake of it which meant our bowlers were often exhausted. Now we have Saha at 6, Ashwin at 7 and our tailenders can all bat including Bhuvi and Jadeja.

Kav the only dilemma for kohli will be whether to play a 3-2 (pace, spin) attack. I am not quite sure if 2 spinners will be effective. And I don't see any teams providing any pitch that has a single thing for spinners. Like SA, Eng and NZ will be waiting for India to come there and give India pace friendly conditions. We could potentially play 4 pacers and spinner and have a very long tail

Time for Ashwin to prove his worth abroad you feel. Jadeja is most likely to drop out I feel if we play with just the one. Abroad you definitely need 3 strong seamers with an excellent fourth bowler - this would be Shami, Bhuvi, Yadav as first choice most likely. We could even play top 5, Saha, Ashwin, Bhuvi, Shami, Yadav, Ishant Sharma on a strong seaming pitch.

Yeah that would be ideal. I reckon Rahul has to stop playing rash shots. I don't know why he is not trying to play his natural game. He will be a walking wicket in away conditions if he doesn't stay patient.
