I want us to win to be 5 points ahead of United, 7 ahead of Liverpool and 3 ahead Arsenal with two thirds of the season gone. This would put us in a great position for a high league finish and champions league football for the second season in a row allowing us to attract some real players of quality.

However I've always enjoyed a good LAL, so that is a secondary reason to beating Liverpool.

Oh this is going to touch a nerve with our delicate souls across the park, though to be fair, at the beginning of the season I did say Liverpool would probably be fighting us for 6th and I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise tbh.

They were 11 ahead of us at one point in a two horse race for the title with Chelsea and having a chuckle at at United employing a busted flush for a manager.
