Ridiculous reaction to a nothing incident by Theo tbf.
Highlights a frustration in his own performances more than anything. Has barely touched the ball in his last few run-outs, with Alexis and Ozil seemingly unable to pass to their right.
Such a strange rule having to wear the same sleeved top as the captain
Anyway as a Spurs fan I can say I don't really care he shoved a former player
Glad someone raised the bit about our "captain for the day". Poor display of leadership IMO.
It's not the first time Coquelin has had to step in and physically restrain a teammate from completely losing his rag. Gabriel vs Diego Costa comes to mind.
The ref had already pulled the yellow out, leaving Walcott a whisker away from a red card for a bit of handbags and running his mouth at the law.
We need a proper captain on the pitch.

Wtf
Think that same sleeve tradition broke quite a while back. Theo is still a woose.
To be fair i dont think any other player had to get involved it was just Theo and Maguire have a moan at each other. Dont think Huddlestone did much.
Looked a right plum picking fights with the two biggest players on the pitch, reminded me of the Wealdstone raider " you want some, cos I'll give it ya"

He knew the booking was coming as soon as he petulantly tossed the ball out to touch.
Might as well rope an opposition player in and possibly get him booked too. Happens all the time.

The most recent thing about the sleeve thing was when Flamini cut his off to be short sleeves and got a bollocking... though I think that was because he cut them with scissors more than the fact that they were short compared to everyone else's...
Theo should always wear long sleeves to cover his feminine wrists, especially if he's gonna be squaring up to players.
The pic I saw of him squaring up to Maguire and Huddlestone was kinda cute. They were almost looking down at him like "aww bless... look at this little guy!"

Yes, but don't forget, he is fast!
The sleeve thing is more a convention than a rule, players who wanted short sleeves used to just cut them off but I think thats against the rules (vik akers rules) so now they wear what they want
A short sleeves article? Slow day OP?

its not thefact that he was much smaller then them, its the fact that it was Theo that did it.
If it were Wilshere that did it would we find it that funny ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's part of what amused me... that it was Theo but also that the expressions on their (Huddlestone and Maguire) seemed to be saying "is he for real?"...
