Yes because making millions in pounds in profit of the club assisted it just as much as the billions your owner spent on yours....
In fairness its not the post on here.... we just had a Leeds fan claiming the problem with United fans is they believe they are superior... I assume the logical flaw is pretty obvious to most people anyway....

TBH we usually argue politics but I'm not a massive fan of his footballing views either....

The Etihad Campus is yet another pandering to their owners ego, and it does no kid from Manchester, Bolton, Burnley, Blackburn, Warrington, Leeds, Timbuktu (or wherever else they send their 40 grand a year scouts watching under 7's games) any favours sending them there.
No kid from the Etihad Campus ego project will ever hit the first team, their ego's won't allow that either, it'll always be a bought in megastar showing that they're the richest, best, whatever.
Better for a kid from Wynthenshawe like Danny, Warrington like Lingard or Salford, Oldham, Bury Gorton etc like the class of 92' to come to United. If you're good enough you'll make it here. If you're good enough and you go to the other lot you'll end up on loan, forget any pipe dream you've got of playing for the Abu Dhabi Globetrotters.

There are probably plenty of attractive, intelligent and charismatic people I wouldn't waste too much time on either...
Although me as an individual claiming to be superior to him as an individual doesn't quite have the same massive hole in its logic as dismissing a huge group of supporters as thinking they are superior...
The irony being these Man United fans aren't great like Cal and others who don't act superior....

Football , finance & the pressure of winning has moved on so much that the likelihood of that happening again being with your lot or city or anyone else in the top 6 for that measure is remote.
