Your arguments for not blaming the manager seems to be pretty poor. We went through a whole series of managers that couldn't get their hands around the job. We finally appointed one good enough for the post and have started to do well.
I'm certainly not blaming anyone, my point is exactly the opposite, blame is easy, running a successful team thats the tricky bit.
But your point isn't made very well. If the manager isn't doing his job well then it is fair enough to say that. Same with the players.
So Lubo, it's the managers fault? in your opinion.
Well, I'm not a Wolves fan, and I'm not sure what the problem is, but your fellow Wolves fans should feel able to blame Lambert if they feel that is where the blame should be allocated.
Oh trust me, Wolves fans will be looking to blame someone, to be fair that's true of all fans, they can't wait to sharpen their knives.
I'm blaming the tea lady
To me this season it's definitely the manager(s). This group of players at worst should be 12th-14th but due to lack of tactics, setting up the wrong formation especially at home and maintaining to the press and fans that "we played really well" is just absurd.
Kenny - Right time to get rid.
Zenga - was never going to last and I said that as soon as he was appointed.
Lambert - Saunders v2.0
A good manager would look at the squad and play to the strengths. There is no way we should have dropped points to Wigan, Burton, QPR and Birmingham. That is simply abysmal and shows how limited some of these so called "managers" are.
Last night we had one shot on target in the 80th+ minute against an average Ipswich side who are well in decline.
Get rid of Lambert NOW and get someone in with an ounce of tactical knowledge as at the moment we are definitely going down. He is a fraud and is surviving off two wins in the cup. Offer Rowett the job ffs!
And the merry go round continues
Wolves fans seem to scatter blame around in any direction they feel gives them some insight and opportunity to scapegoat. (Is to scapegoat a verb?).
Most of this is done out of ignorance and prejudice, often just because they just don't like the way an individual looks or speaks. An early example of this was the stick that Gary Pendrey used to get when he was Graham Turner's assistant.
Dalrymple and Thelwell get it now as did Moxey before them, no one really knows what they do, they just see us failing and so the fat guy in the suit must be to blame because he sends all day eating pies instead of getting to grips with our failure.
I'm not saying any of these chosen victims are above criticism, but people asking for there heads and assuming things will immediately improve is clearly nonsense. The problems at Wolves run much deeper, the DNA needs to change radically and a new culture of individual and collective leadership needs to be introduced. A lot of work and it will take time. Hopefully Fosun have recognised this and actions are in place.
Sorry should have said some Wolves fans.
I think it's a lot more than some, sometimes fans can be a part of the problem too.
Blame is simple to me, we have been managed dreadfully the last two seasons by managers that see hard running as the answer to leaving this division.
It is staring us in the face, they have selected sides based on their ability without the ball rather than with it for the most part, that will not get results geared toward promotion in any division.
I remember the good old days when people said throwing 20 million at the problem guranteed promotion.
They were so sure too.

To be quite honest i think it would have worked this season with an intelligent manager.
Saiss, Cavaleiro, Costa all playing each week would probably have us in much better position for a start but laughably Saville has even started ahead of Cav on the wing this season, oh and he has also started ahead of the far superior Doherty at LB as well, oh and ahead of the far superior Saiss in midfield.
I think you start to get the picture with regards to the managers being morons.
If only Whit were in charge, we would be storming it
So you think the fact that a manager selects somebody as poor as Saville ahead of those i have mentioned has a better idea than average Joe?
Clearly he doesn't, my feckin mother wouldn't have made that kind of dumb decision multiple times.
Why not put in a bid for Zola?

Cinci, straight up question...
What makes you think Saiss is the messiah? Or Saville an amateur. To me, Saville has done okay over the last 12 months and could play regularly in a reasonably successful side. The problem is we've got too many Savilles...average quality isn't high enough...it's not Saville himself.
As for Saiss, didn't he feature under Lambert early on, then he took him out as we were losing him to ACON anyway, then he has phased him back in since he returned?
Cav was regular starter under Lambert then got injured.
Your magic formula had Ronan playing number ten every game for rest of season but even Lamberts softly softly approach with him proved too much physically.
I'm not trying to say Lambert has been doing a good job but you seem to be moaning for the sake of it..?
It's always difficult to apportion blame, when we don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Whether it's training methods, team selections or substitutions, ultimately it's the manager/coach that's in the firing line.
PL's starting elevens are a wee bit bemusing to say the least and to chop and change all the time doesn't bode well for consistency. With so many players in the first team squad, all wanting to don the shirt, it must be a nightmare selecting a side for each match.
However, he is being paid to do a job and at the moment he's making one heck of a mess and we're heading for League 1. I never thought for one minute that the appointment of PL would see us in this precarious situation whereby every game now will be like a cup final.
Whether Fosun continues with PL at the end of the season, will give us fans an idea what their intentions really are. There has to be a huge clear out to trim the squad during the summer and I'd include Rob Edwards and Thelwell in that mix.
There are players being selected that are simply not good enough to move us forward and I sincerely hope it can be addressed this summer.
To be honest I'm no great fan of Saville, but I used to feel the same about Edwards, and he has proved his worth.
So as much as I might agree Lizard, it's never that staright forward, or is it
Moaning for the sake of it????
You can see the results that i can see so clearly i am not moaning for nothing, i am sick and tired of seeing this pathetic shat unfold.
Do i think Saiss is the messiah? No. Do i think he is comfortably better than Saville? Absolutely.
Cav has played 1150 minutes all season despite only being missing the last month, we have seen Saville played out there as well, nowt against Saville for that, that is just a pathetic management decision which is my point.
But rest assured, Saville will be handed a new two/three year contract over the next few months whilst we wonder why mediocrity exists throughout the club.
As for Ronan, he didn't get injured due to playing a few pro games, his injury will have been there for a while.
I think RJCanty makes a stronger point in that a head coach should make the most of the tools available. Lambert has not really been able to do that and I think he'll be embarrassed about the number of shots on target we've had during his reign.
We survived on scoring purple patches from Edwards and Costa early in Lamberts stint but have created jack all overall.
I think a major area for blame over the last couple of years is recruitment. Wherever you look it's weak. Remember Iwelumo the coach? Shambles. And Gill hasn't really lasted long. Did lambert need to bring in another coach? Was retaining rob Edwards instead the best thing to do? Why didn't we sign a striker in January in any form beyond the duck? It's not as if it looks like anyone expected Wilson, zyro or Ennis to play a major role this season. Why did we feel the need to sign up Evans recently rather than wait a bit longer to see if he could make a proper impact?
As amiga says it ain't easy to run a football club but the folks charged with the task at wolves have been doing a very poor job for two years now...collectively.
Agree with just about all of that Lizard, especially the backroom staff bit, they seem to be part of the furniture and need clearing out asap.
I personally am not one calling for Lambert to be sacked because i still like to believe he isn't as inept as what he has shown thus far, but that said ihe made some bizarre decisions when he arrived, clearing out a number of summer signings without as much as a look.
Why did that happen? Have seen rumours of a 'power struggle' behind the scenes, not sure i believe that or not but something is/was certainly amiss.

Indeed. I see that Spiers has just retweeted this golden snippet:
Championship Stats @Champstat
David Edwards (101) is the only @SkyBetChamp player to have won more than 100 tackles this season.
Luke Ayling is currently on 99.
Seems Dave's game is much more than just scoring goals.
So many poisonous parts in our poisoned pudding.
Morgan
Moxey
Thelwell
Fosun
Mendes
The entire coaching staff
The entire medical team
The entire playing staff - every single one of them.
A succession of appalling managers from Solbakken to Lambert, but in particular a certain Mr Zenga who left one hell of a mess behind.
And finally, the fans.
Some have a 0.00001% influence and others 40% plus but the whole pudding is poisonous as a result. It has been rising in the oven since Mick was sacked and is almost ready to kill the whole of Wolverhampton.
