Agree with that, fair result today.

Definitely better from Rangers, while Some of Celtics players had an off day.

Seems like many bears are still grumpy though, seems they are more concerned about the Dembele "dive" than getting a good result today 😀

In the meantime, as disappointed as I am (it felt like a defeat returning home to Tyne & Wear) - it's still been a fantastic season domestically. It is March 12th, we remain undefeated, treble is still possible and all we need are 6 points to clinch 6 in a row - we would all have settled for that when the season started in August

Agree with your post STB but you forgot to miss out that we also Qualified for the CL happy to help

BW - quite a few Bears going over the top, mate but let's not grudge them that, bearing in mind the season we/they have had

Let's also not forget that there were times in the nineties when the likes of Liam Brady, Lou Macari and Jo Venglos would manage teams to victories over Rangers, never mind draws. As much as they felt great at the time, they meant nothing in the grand scheme of things

Timi - we certainly did, mate but just wanted to focus in my OP on our domestic performances/results - but thanks anyway

Missed the match but had Celtic as a banker in my acca. Probably burst a few today.

"Better than them" - do you mean the Celtic or Rangers teams from the nineties? Your question is ambiguous - please clarify and I will answer .

You joking😂 ? Obviously Celtic,

Zach - sorry just being thick but don't understand your question either

No not joking, otherwise I wouldn't have asked. In my opinion, the current team/squad would beat Lou Macari's and Liam Brady's team but is not as good as Dr Jo's team

And how would they fair against the Rangers team of that time ?

Zach - agreed, mate

Eck - A very hypothetical question - imho Brendan's current team has real potential and, with a few key additions, will turn into a very good team - but we are not yet at the level of Rangers in the 90's

I wasn't

Regarding the semi final, I think the only thing that we could dare to agree is that Celtic will still be favourites, but anything can happen.
