I blame the papish Irish😁
Guys, this OP was titled RIP Martin McGuinness, so in the interests of peaceful debate, try to remember that Marty reached out to us lot, unionists, prods, Loyalists, even the Queen......and Her Majesty spoke in Irish to lay a wreath at the republican plot in Dunlin.
Leave the whatabouttery to another day.....me included😁
We can slate the Brits, empire, ra, Irish atholic church, SF and DUP again soon.
RIP Marty

When a person dies, we think of the good stuff.
I can see Marty sitting giggling with Paisley, who was joking about No Surrender beside him during an interview.
I see Martin kicking a ball in his garden, with kids, and talking about his love for fitba and cricket..Yes cricket, which I tried to play too.
I see a very sick man leaving politics at Storming, looking like my late dad.
I think of a young man, like me, caught up and born in the wrong time.I never took up the gun, but came close and was active in politics here.
I think of another human, and his family.
God bless

Not that I believe in clap trap like heaven and hell but as the myth goes

Tbbab...I've been critical of a lot of your posts in the past so it's only fair for me to say that I admire and respect your position on this.
At the end of the day there has to be compromise on all sides on these big issues if we are to get them resolved (and then you have to get lucky and have all sides prepared to compromise at the same time).
Without people with your attitude there would have been even more bloodshed than there was/is.

He was a terrorist monster, i grew up in Belfast in the troubles with daily deaths that were the 4th/5th thing mentioned on the news unless it was an attack in the UK mainland.
Terrible disgusting little grubby terrorist, McGuiness turned to politics when he realised murder wont work, if it did he would have won. Took him 25 years and Adams losing his West Belfast seat for him to realise this..........
He was lucky in that he seen his kids grow up, something a lot of innocents cant say,
Lying to the end he had pancreatic cancer, not a heart condition, he takes a lot of secrets to hell with him.................

Its quite simple. A lot of Scottish football fans have political tendencies based on what club they support. They very rarely have a clue what they are on about, but as long as they think it fits with what they presume the majority of their own fans think.. well it does not really matter, such as Zach getting hassle for wearing a Yes badge.
