A number of things, he may risk getting killed.

When you consider their are 1.6 billion Muslims on this planet and you can name only a few people who have been killed for doing this, it's very unlikely.

What's more likely is that normal Muslims will defend their Prophet verbally or on social media and nothing will happen to the comedian which their is ample proof of.

Now then will you answer my questions?

Education does matter a lot. I come from Nigeria and can use education to illustrate a difference in behaviour. The Muslims in the South of the country are mostly from the Yoruba tribe in the South West corner. They happen to be better educated and westernized than other ethnic groups (most of the Nigerian population in the UK is of Yoruba heritage). They have an even distribution of Christians and Muslims among them, freely intermarry and have no religious clashes.
The Muslim North though presents a vastly different picture. The dominant ethic groups there (the Hausa/Fulanis) lag far behind in education and exposure to liberal Western values and ideals. They are VERY prone to violence. Religious-fueled mass slaughter is a regular occurrence there. Hell, a mob of thousands there several years ago.carried out carnage on the streets murdering, destroying and burning when some guy in Denmark drew an offensive cartoon depiction of their prophet Mohammed.

Education does go a long way.

One cartoon and look what happened, like it or not people now are scared to mock one religion because of that whereas others are fare game.

Skirt around the truth if you want but you know deep down that were it to happen again the results would be the same.

Can you say that it's possible to the point of certainty because I think it is.

Yet if you simply google comedians mocking Islam you'll find hundreds alive and well doing their thing.

The only person skirting around anything is you, you can't answer my questions for some reason?

I have given you examples of a Muslim being killed by Hindus because of transporting cattle yet you still think it's only western non Muslim comedians under threat. Do you think if he cracked a joke about cows instead he'd be alive?

Proof on this subject isn't on your side and it isn't on your side with the questions I asked.

Will you answer my questions now?

To be fair to King Fu, the creators of South Park did portray Mohammed (sp?) as a camp teddy bear, and those guys still walk around.

I think a lot has to do with the culture.

In the USA, radical Islam isn't prevalent and the authorities don't severely harass Muslims. Nor are Muslims ghettoised.. the opposite is true in France, so the Hebdo killing make more sense, and similar killings are likely if there's more of the same

Did you hear about the Muslim, Jew and christian walking into the cafe for a coffee?
They sat down, had a chat and went to the match.

What did you expect?😉

If the west is the cause of islamist extremism, why is Russia being bombed?
Why target Stockholm, Berlin or Brussels?

Why are Islamists active in Africa?

Why did the turks try to cleanse Armenian's from the planet?

Only a bigot and fanatic would blame everyone else for islamist extremism.

One thing has become obvious though, the MSM is strongly in support of regime change in Syria and the military strikes against the Syrian government. They can't even be subtle with their agenda anymore.

No doubt they will continue to drown us graphic pictures of all the children killed by Assad and Russia while totally ignoring all the victims killed by the "moderate" rebels. Thank God we have the internet now.

Its not rocket science to see whats going on, Syria is a proxy for former cold war adversaries.

Assad is a puppet for Putin. He's a puppet for Iran and their vested interests, i doubt either countrys leadership really care who runs Syria, just as long as it remains under their sphere of influence.

The conspiracy theorists and contrarians love having a go at 'The West' as if it is the root of all evil.

Assad is an ally of Iran and Hezbollah. Israel view both as their biggest threat in the region. Therefore, Assad becomes a threat too. The US are aiding their 51st state as usual.

There's a strong argument that the US foreign policy is dodgy as fack and of course that is pretty much true but if you take into account Russia being a threat and how any show of weakness from the US' part over the years means that Russia will take advantage then you can see why they're so keen to have such a big influence in that area.

It would be lovely to think both Russia and the US would keep themselves to themselves in their own countries and never do anything outside of that parameter but it's a daydream to believe that.

Empires will always want to expand. It was the same with the British empire. The Ottoman Empire. Etc

It is extremely sad that the people of the Middle East have to be the pawns in a proxy war between the Russians and the West but what else can the US do? Sit back and let others gain more influence in the world?

No empire would do that. It's not nice but it's nature. A horrible one but if the US withdrew into its shell the vacuum would be filled by someone else.

Lindsey Graham says is imperative that IS and radical Islam are destroyed. Yet fails to mention that Saudi Arabia, a nation that promotes Wahhabism across the globe, is an ally of the US.

Who says he's running the White House? He's a senior Republican though, as are men like McCain who think in exactly the same way he does.

And do you think McCain and Trump like each other let alone have the same ideas on foreign policy?

No, but Trump was under pressure from the more mainstream elements of his party to take action. It isn't just the Republicans either. Hillary was no different when it came to foreign policy.

So do you think the US was wrong to respond to the chemical weapon attack?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If this was a one-off attack by the US, then no. However, if this is the start of a bigger operation, then yes.
