Both would vastly improve us but I'd go for Keane because of his leadership which is a rare thing these days.
have scholes in the team the likes of martial, mata and rashford would love it. scholes can pick them out with one pass

Only really works if the front players move though.
Scholes.
Fellaini can fulfil the Keane role.
If you can have one of Keane or Scholes in the current Utd team which player would you choose and why?
______________
I'd always take Keane first - in any United team, not just this one!
And not just for his leadership skills either. Players like Keane gave us our fear factor which we have clearly lost. Hunger, never say die attitude, confidence and a great player too.
He was always more influential than Scholes imo, even though he was less talented.

not really how many times did you see scholes switch play with one long ball to the likes of nani, rooney any wide player. it takes us 5/6 passes to switch from one side to the other but with scholes it would happen with one ball and that one ball would fall right to their feet
Scholes, best midfielder we ever had and could play several roles in several formations.
Still depends on player movement though.Whether its a player stretching width or a player running through the middle. Our team, most of the time, are largely statues.

You are judging the movement when the ball is in the final third.
With someone like Scholes on the pitch, the movement required would be when the CM has the ball very early on, in our own half.. Our movement, at that point, is generally good, it's just not spotted anywhere near quick enough by Herrera, Carrick or Pogba (we have see rare switch balls from Pogba and Herrera, but not often enough)
Imagine how frustrated Keano would get with Pogba

nah, i think i'll calm up, if anything,
The level of idiocy being spouted today is at record levels... I need to be at my angry best.
As our main problem seems to be finishing and creativity then Scholes would be my pick.
Having said that Keane was also a better footballer than he was given credit for and his passing was often incisive into the front players as well. It's just with him you see all other aspects of his game and perhaps that goes unnoticed.
Can I be greedy and ask for both though?
