Why should a victim have to suffer in order to justify his sentence?
Him intending to meet and have sx with a minor - which was proven - but being unable to as it was reported in time should not be considered lesser to actually having sx with a minor, since the intent was there.
Amazed anyone is using what he said as evidence of no remorse?!?
No idea if he is remorseful or not but I won't rely on a video clip of him mixed with inmates and trying to come across as jack the lad as that evidence.
The sentence is a joke and sentences like this will have the opposite effect on the perpetrator rather than 'correct' him which after all is the reason for the jail time.

Got 3 years and the paper made him sound like an animal, the guy wouldn't hurt anyone.

I think we all know similar stories and i suspect many of us post sixteen had no problem hanging out with girls a couple of years younger.
The word Paedophile conjures up images of guys molesting pre-pubescent kids and i think the term needs to be made much clearer in cases such as this.
