Anfield was very much the same.
Pleased with how we defended and saw the game out but the game for us too quickly became about not conceding than countering and getting a goal.
We need to improve when it comes to beating the press and causing teams problems in these types of games.

Scary to think we had the best chances at Anfield and at the Etihad. Could easily won both if we didn't miss the sitters.
I thought Anfield was worse... this was bad though
Didn't Robb troll LVG for us dominating games under LVG and say we had a poor big game record and few injuries. We had tons more injuries last season then this season that cost us a lot of points.
The one thing we have this season is a lot less injuries then the previous 2 seasons so injuries is less of an excuse for Mourinho.
This was worse than Anfield in that it mattered a lot more.
I'm not even sure we defended all that well tonight. Pure luck that City didn't score.
What is the point of playing Rashford, Martial and Mkhitaryan up front if you've no intention of attacking? We'd have been better off with Fosu-Mensah as a lone striker.
Absolutely disgusted with how we played tonight.
The 2nd half was embarrassing and annoying.
Considering Aguero hit the post wouldn't call Herrera's header the best chance looking at player v position.
City were poor in wide areas which was a bit criminal at points. Sterling, very disappointing but the 3 in centre mid thought were pretty good.
Only a good point If you go out an Beat one of, or both, Spurs and arsenal.
3 draws against those three sides won't be enough for top four, city were there for the taking tonight too. Thought you should have gone after them in the second half.
Gained a point on Liverpool with on paper a harder fixture.

Not sure "for the taking" is the chat in such a one sided affair. On balance, Utd deserve their point for a very good defensive performance but you'd be hard pushed to say they should have won surely?
