He's a good player but the last thing we need.
Would certainly help us in the games we can dominate at home against parked busses.
Fabregas is still playing at a high level. Would like him and I think Jose would too.
I'm with robb on this one.
We'd be getting the best creator of chances from midfield in PL history. His assists record is simply stunning.
He's home grown. Another huge bonus.
We could be about to lose Rooney n Zlatan in addition to already losing Schweiny. Lot of experience to lose and he brings a lot with him.
He's Spanish and our Spanish lads seem to be going great. Hopefully even our keeper stay puts again.
And Probably best of the lot......he pushes Fellaini further down the pecking order which has to be a good thing. No problem keeping Fellaini as a squad player but if he's starting 30games+ for us next year, we may as well not bother discussing the league title. It won't happen with him.
I'd take Cesc in a heartbeat really. Improves us and has a lot of other benefits as listed above.
Would take him surely at a reasonable fee. However, we have far more pressing positions that need filling
Where would you play him?
Can't see him working with Le Pog in MF tbh

Surely better than what we have now with a 36 yr old Carrick and Fellaini?
He'll stay or go to Italy

Apparently he's said he's got no interest in Italy at all.
Think it's PL or La Liga for him. Chelsea will most likely want to keep him but they can't guarantee him starts. It seems like it's up to him.

Not sure there tbh. Carrick at that age or since we signed him really doesn't really get forward and focusses on staying put and cutting off opposition.
Cesc there means a lot for Herrera defensively IMO.

that would suit me, from a defensive point of view herrera's stats this season are very impressive - similar to kante's in fact - so i don't mind the idea of him taking up the DM role permanently (and, in truth, he's not really creative enough to nail down the advanced midfield role).
and we clearly need a bit of strength in depth, as you say if any one of carrick/herrera is rested/injured we're already down to fellaini/blind/TFM

Try not to get your hopes up too much. Can't see us selling to you, there's no reason too as the transfer fee wouldn't be that big
I know many will see this as contentious but I see Herrera as a back up or sold for someone better too

We us to like the link up between mata and herrera and fab to that chain, pikka pogga
How long does he have on his contract? He's 29 so I don't think Chelsea will pass us £25m if he's not really in first team plans.
I can definitely see him leaving this summer just maybe not to United.

What the sweet baby Jesus does this mean?
Would take him in a heartbeat.
Top player.
I'd actually prefer us to sign a more robust Midfielder like Matuidi or Fabinho as I think it could benefit us more and release Pogba a bit (hopefully)
Fabregas for the right amount though would still be welcome. His passing and creativity would benefit us greatly. Rashford would love him.
Cant see him signing for you, he is going to want to be a starter dont think you can guarantee him that.
He may as well sit on our bench as opposed to yours, and save himself the trouble of uprooting his family.
How about John terry for a season?
i very much doubt we will sell to jose
