Right, just had Lewa on the phone letting me know his 6 months is up and he’s desperate for a return. Fed up of having to share game time with Benzema & Firmino apparently

Real side on here is massively unbalanced with 3 top strikers in Lewa, Benzema & Firmino and zero DM’s. Lewa will be 33 in the summer and we all know Benzema is Zidane’s golden boy.

Casemiro is younger, more valuable and one of the best DM’s in the world. He’s also a key cog in Real’s success and one of their most important players as he’s the glue that keeps them together. Without him their midfield gets completely overrun.

You know it makes sense.

Has it been 6 months for you as I can’t find when you sold him?

Personally don’t think they’d do it seeing the impact losing Ronaldo had. Lewa would make up for that imo, probably best striker in world, and don’t think he’ll slow down for a couple years yet.

Think any team would miss Lewa more than Casemiro.

Benzema fired Real to the title last season and Zidane only plays one up top. They’d go from being reliant on Benz for goals to being reliant on Lewa. They need to add a goalscoring winger/wide forward to their side to help replace Ronaldo.

For arguments sake, let’s say Real signed Firmino in the summer. Great piece of business and perfect back up for Benzema.

Then Bayern give them a call and offer to give them Lewa in exchange for Casemiro. You really think they’d say yeah sure we’ll lose our key DM so we can have three strikers, when Zidane only plays one up top.

Or would they turn round and say thanks for the offer but we’re well stocked up top with Benzema and Firmino. Whereas Casemiro is irreplaceable in their current squad.

When I made the offer for Firmino, Lewa wasn’t taken into account. So Bobby shouldn’t be here.

Valverde Kroos Modric is a very strong trio. Not like there is a weakness there, as you say weakness is out wide. Valverde is box to box and Kroos can play deep. I think Real would rather have Lewa than Casemiro right now and for next couple years. Think everyone would rather have worlds best striker than one of best dms.

Think everyone would go take the better player, then go and replace the dm.

If Casemiro was younger would be an argument, but at 29 for a mobile dm would say your looking for a couple/few years at same level, would expect Lewa will be looking at another couple/few years top.

Fan cleared up the rules recently, Firmino and Lewa are both classed as being part of the Real Madrid squad. Was the case when I offered them Morata recently.

Casemiro has years left in the tank and will be going longer than Lewa.

It’s a choice between having 3 strikers and no real DM. Or Benzema & Firmino as CF with Casemiro at DM. Their midfield gets overran whenever Casemiro is missing. Whereas Benz has already shown he’s capable of firing goals to clinch them the title.

Not sure what Fan said, but we have done it for years based on the real squad. Firmino isn’t in the real squad.

Pretty sure Fan cleared up that it’s the real squad plus players that have been sent from the league. So they have Benzema, Lewa & Firmino. Will wait for him to confirm

Casemiro was swapped for Verratti, who was then swapped for B.Silva. So they’re in desperate need of a midfield enforcer

Firstly need to consider who is the better player when doing swaps.

Diverting it on to simply improving the team simply proves that Lewa is a better player.

Swaps have always been whether the team you’re offering to would consider it. Does it improve their team. Has always been the case

When I offered Lewandowski for Kimmich I got told no as they could play Gnabry up top. Nothing about who was better. Always been about the teams need

Lewandowski one of the best strikers in the world. Casemiro one of the best DM’s in the world. Real have 3 strikers and no DM.

Seems you’re trying to divert away as you don’t want the swap to take place.

I’ve always thought a few things were considered.

Clearly who is the better/higher rated would be the first one imo (looking at how they rank or value with age). Then also look at whether it improves team.

There’s no reason for me to not want the swap to take place - I’m being consistent with other swaps. Pure and simply it’s diverting away from one considering how players compare ( I have always firstly compared players, and how they rank in their positions or if younger then considering they’ll be valued more).

If you’re trying to say that’s not what I go by, then that’s diverting from the truth. Can go back and look at any swaps I’ve proposed or given ok to.

My point is when JET was in for Lewandowski you suggested Aubameyang may be feasible as he could play with Benzema and therefore potentially improve the team. Nothing about who was better out of the two.

Casemiro an obv improvement when you look at the Real Madrid squad on here. Full of strikers and no DM. All I’m asking for is consistency.

I said Auba would be a better possible offer but never said it was ok, sure also after that said why I didn’t think it worked with Hazard I think anyway. Also goes back to my main point, and one you’ve also highlighted today which you seem to now agree with, that a wide option is their main weakness.

If you look at the Kante one, can see I’ve referenced Valverde there, exact same thing I’m saying above - that a Valverde Kroos Modric trio is strong imo. I don’t see it as such a big improvement that they’d lose the best striker in world. If Casemiro wasn’t almost 30, and was a few years younger I’d have seen it as fair.

Can go back to my Mahrez offer and Varane yesterday, and can see I’ve clearly compared how Mahrez had been better last year and a half, and hit higher heights overall in Prem while for Varane again I mentioned I see him too 5 cbs.
