Nope.
Bale is almost 7 years older, which is a long time to reap the benefits of someone, assuming Dele was to stay for all that time in this hypothetical scenario.
I think Dele has more potential than Bale, plus Bale is starting to become a bit of a crock.

Yeah.... me neither. Its Isco I want but by the sounds of things James is being shopped around all the big clubs which probably means he's done enough to stay after a very good last month. Its such a shame Madrid would never sell Modric..... Him in our midfield would be fantastic
Bale is coming to United. Guillem Ballague says a swap deal between Rooney and Bale is imminent but we are wanting £30m + Bale for United marksman Rooney. Ballague says Real will not pay the money but are offering to include James Rodriguez as part of the deal. The United ace became club and country top goalscorer this season but the United team this season has failed to play at his level. The United talisman is said to be frustrated and Zidane is keen to take the United playmaker to the Bernabeu.

Speaking of players who went on strike to leave Spurs ... Was a bit strange Berbatov was introduced as a 'legend' on Sunday I thought
Though I loved seeing KEANEO again
Real Madrid wouldn't even use Rooney as a hat stand.
no way...loved GB11 when he was with us...but he's injury prone as fook now and dele if he carries on will be a superstar.

Zidane went on to praise the United legend, “He is someone I have always personally admired and dreamt of playing with. He is one of the top 5 players in the world and would strengthen any team”
The France and Real Madrid legend added that Rooney is “Currently on a different level to anyone currently playing in La Liga”.
High praise indeed. It will be sad to see him go but if we get Bale, James and hopefully Ronaldo as part of the swap deal then I won’t be complaining too much.
as someone else has mentioned, bale's injury record over the past 2 seasons is poor - he's managed 57 games for them over 2 seasons, cf ronaldo, who is 5 years older, who has 88 and counting. this season he has made his fewest appearances since his first season at spurs.
that may be a blip, or it may be the start of a trend, but if you effectively pay £80m for a 28 year old, you don't have the luxury of having the time to find out. not to mention you might end up having to pay him £200k a week to turn up for half the season.

Don't think Dele will ever hit the heights of peak Bale but he's now injury prone and has lost some of his raw pace. Wouldn't swap

I know, He’s far too humble despite winning everything with Real Madrid and getting Wales to a European Semi. This humbleness will not fit in with these incredible Spurs talents whose egos are through the roof after almost pushing Gent all the way. That’s the kind of success that goes to your head.
