It does raise an interesting question though....you're getting on for having a daughter making a first communion. What happened......did she slip into a forty year coma at the age of six or are you one of these Keef Richard/rod Stewart types?

Mags-I never said I was retired! Got over another 20 years more than likely before that can happen!

STB-I hope it's a relatively quiet and subdued affair, although I imagine we will end up back at our house and will be dishing out the red cards from there!!

And Pointy-it's always forgivable to go ATM, although I try and avoid that during an actual mass.

Many thanks Curly. She's just had her hair done and will be getting her dress on soon. I've seen her in it, and it's nothing big and fancy, it's fairly demure. But it still made me realise she's growing up, and too fast.
