We need someone who knows the league so Simon Gryson comes to mind straight away.I said at the time he was second only to Revie of the rest only Silva stands out for me Karanka seems to me a very uninspiring person
Outside bet the Crowley brothers what a job they have done at Lincoln and they believe in attacking football

Karanka is mates with José, maybe you'll be cheering on some young Man Utd loanees next season?

I supose Pep Clotet would be an option & a cheap 1 too ?

Always liked Lambert

Definately dont want Kawanka

I've touted the Cowley brothers before, but think it may be too soon for them. A big risk, especially after our previous non-league experiment with Hockaday, but a risk I wouldn't be unhappy with.

Pearson got a good record

Dont like him that much though

I'd actually like us to poach our next manager rather than just have someone who's 'available' (unemployed).

One step forward, two step backwards - If we get Karanka(whatever his name is) that's 3 steps backwards. Can't believe Monk's gone - this club is playing with fire constantly...

Giggs, Wagner or Parkinson might be interesting.

Silva for me.

Second would be Ranieri.

Ranieri would be an absolute disaster

I thought he'd be a disaster at Leicester....

There were many other factors in what happened with Leicester last season....sure he did a good job but his record in previous jobs isn't great.

He wouldn't be a good manager in the Championship

Ranieri providing Vardy and Kante come with him

Paul Tisdale is highly rated at Exeter probably too much of a gamble for us though.

Chris houghton. That would be a show of intent.

For what its worth Karanka would get us results but the football would be dire.

Grayson would at least be exciting, and theres no one else on the list who inspires me apart from Silva and Jokanovic who wouldn't come anywhere near us

Why would CH come to ER?

karanka lost 5 out of 46 home games in two seasons at boro.

won promotion.

but its a bit of a snooze fest. tbh most our recent managers have been snoozers, monk was boring and defensive by the end, evans the same so its not really anything new.

Ranieri was 5/1 on skybet, Karanka clear fav on that. Whoever we get, most on here will moan.

Silva or Pearson or promotion, that's promotion winning Karanka

Pep and Beattie anyone, read on Twitter even Pep didn't know Monk was off.

Bloody hell Don. That can't be true, can it?
I'd be well p i zzz ed off if I was Pep and Beattie
if it is true. And if it is, it screams of an agent
turning Monk's head.

What if Monk sensed Bartley wasn't going to be signed?
And as was said above, knew Wood was going?
Saying that, I still think this screams agent/grass greener/adios.
