How much did you pay for him again
What a flop
I maintain that if he'd been given a run of games, let's say 10 starts, he'd have picked up some form and been a decent player. He's shown glimpses, he's just never had a continued run in the side. Not everyone can just come in and play the last 15 mins of a game, or start a game every six weeks, and look decent.
Having said that, the reason that he hasn't been given the chance is that he isn't better than any of our first team.
So I agree that it's the strangest signing I can remember. It's the club's fault for me, signing someone who was never really going to improve us.
I try not to think about the fee, if it really was £30m then it maddens me.
As long as he leaves for £10m+ I'm happy.

Amazing to think that even when you stuck 6 past us a couple of weeks back, he /still/ looked atrocious.
might as well sell him he doesn't seem to have a future. reckon hes a better player than what he has shown us this season but I don't think sissoko plus spurs will work.
can probably mug someone off for 20-25m on the basis hes a current French international, and that plus the 50+ mill we will probably fleece man city for kyle walker we can bring in a couple of top quality additions.
One of the strangest transfers ever, was never really going end well, was it?
I can tell him in English and I can google how to tell him in french....
"We thought you were Blaise Matuidi. You're clearly not. We don't want you so there's the door".
Poch has been pretty ruthless with sub-standard players in the past. Even Walker has been feeling the wrath and being dropped.
So it surprises me that Sissoko makes the squad and sometimes the team every week. He must be doing something right in training.
Having said that, i have rarely seen a player in his position with worse touch and dribbling ability. Constantly looks like he's gonna trip over the thing
Inter and AC are cash-rich this Summer, but will struggle to attract the best players - the bestb hing for us would be one of those two being desperate and giving us a wedge.
Clearly been useless so far...but I read that as wanting better communication regarding his future, not terms of training and tactics etc.
Nothing wrong with that imo.
But happy to sell with Winks, Onomah in reserve and hopefully Lamela back plus any incomings too.
