There are thousands and thousands of very well payed jobs already migrating to Europe especially in banking and finance.
Any thinking person cannot help but see we will be very much worse off as a nation, not because of Jeremy Corbyn, but because of David Cameron, Boris Johnson, David Davis, Micheal Gove and tha super genius - Liam Fox, now ably abetted by Teresa Mayormaynot. And guess what, many of those responsible are just the clowns who are negotiating the deal (or non-deal which will be infinitely worse.
It is unbelievable that we are self harming to such a wicked extent. We had banking and finance all sown up. But now it is moving to Paris, Frankfurt and Dublin.
Have you considered applying for Lynton Crosby's position, 666 ? I'm sure you could do a better job.
Imagine treating your guaranteed core voters with complete disdain, by attacking their incomes and saddling them with a dementia tax ?
And playing personality politics, when you have a leader with absolutely no personality, was a huge gaffe.
I've just driven down Newbridge. Is that your house Ramdini with the Labour poster in the window?
I've slept voted for Labour but I can't vote for a party who have a supporter of terrorists as their leader. Someone who was happy to be photographed at funerals of terrorists.
Griff, Yes that is mine. Labour will not be elected though I hope they are. But I do not want Teresa May, who is hopelessly inadequate for the job of PM, to gain any satisfaction, or draw any conclusions from the fact that my vote was for her. I have voted against her - rather than for Corbyn. I would have voted for whichever party was challenging that Candy Crush playing non-entity from Jacksdale.
And as for Corbyn supporting terrorists that is more a trick of the Daily Mail and The Sun for whatever reason they do such things. I don't understand why Paul dare does it but The Sun is simply driven by the need to get the Tory party to let him build his media monopoly much further.
And, as I have watched the TV exposure, I now believe Corbyn is the better person by far than Teresa who just wants to be PM without letting anyone see what she is like or what she will do. And, as for the dementia tax with no information on the eventual cap, you simply could not make it up.
for dare please read Dacre.
Labour has accused the Conservatives of creating “fake news” after a Tory attack video that went viral was edited to show Jeremy Corbyn refusing to condemn the bombing by the both the loyalists and the nationalists.”
Who says Corbyn supported terrorists Griff. He is anti colonialist so will support a united Ireland, as do many who aren't terrorists, myself included. He said we should open a dialogue. Thatcher's government did so, but in secret. Who was the most honest?
How did the troubles end? By dialogue. Had we not done so you would still be having to patrol in that awful place.
All governments support terrorists. If you are on the opposite side then the British Army are terrorists. There has never been an armed conflict without the civilian population being terrorised by armed forces.
Spart, there are many historical photos of Corbyn saluting an PIRA funeral, attending funerals, helping the republicans bring uk soldiers to court for alleged shootings from the 1970's and then give known Irish terrorists get out of jail free card. I attended a rally by veterans in London last Easter and look how Dennis Hutchings is being treated by Corbyns mates. Corbyn said that the Uk military hasn't had a justified conflict since 1945. Falklands? Bosnia? He should be hung for treason
See, all the personal attacks on Corbyn funny the Conservatives were selling arms to Saddam but that is convieniently over-looked, John Major gave a clear mandate to communicate with the PIRA as did Maggie. Fact, end of.
You vote for a party and policies not a person. The Labour Party has made a firm decision not to react to personal attacks, witness BoJo, David Davies and the cringeworthy Maybot trying to ridicule and degenerate the opposition members. That's easy to do.
Brexit? Just a referendum to settle a Conservative Party squabble.
Well I thought I wasn't missing the football season but all these politics as made me wonder if Im really am missing it. Although it's nice to have a weekend knowing that Derby county isn't going to spoil it

Well said that man <apolause>
He should also be forced to watch Leeds united for a whole season
Griff, I don't see many justifications for the Falklands other than the people wanting to take it over were worse than Thatcher. Hanging on to bits of empire just for the sake of it is Daily Mail reader territory.
Bosnia was never as clean cut as we were lead to believe with the opposing sides shelling themselves so NATO would retaliate on their behalf. Civil wars are always the dirtiest.
I also know from my ex brother in law who served in Northern Ireland that many of the British soldiers weren't angels. He used to boast about some of the things they did.
Iraq and Libya turned out alright though.
FFs spart the people of the Falklands what to be part of GB and they where invaded and occupied. Thatcher was right to win it back. How can anyone dispute defending a country who wants to be part of us that gets invaded.
They weren't exactly natives though Griff. Some parts of Bradford are inhabited mainly by people of Pakistani origin. Can they then declare them part of Pakistan not England.
The US claimed Hawaii by colonising it. Was that right?
The Falklands have been settled by Spanish, French, British and Argentinians. The British used their naval power in 1833 to claim it for Britain. just like they built the rest of the Empire. High time we gave it all up, Gibraltar, St Helena, Diego Garcia etc. Especially Diego Garcia where we forced the inhabitants off at gun point because the US wanted it for an air base.
I don't think the people of the Falklands were the main issue, it is that black gold secreted under the Falklands territorial and Arctic seabed that focused minds 35 years ago, so that might, just might have concentrated Tory minds in 1982 🤔
Just saying like....
I think you are wrong about that View. It was simply Thatcher had to take them back or face political oblivion. In the same way that the Argentinian Junta invaded because they were in danger of losing power. As Johnson said "patriotism, last refuge of the scoundrel", or scoundrels in this case.
The oil thing came up later but I don't think any oil company in the world would consider off shore drilling in the South Atlantic. There were many lives lost on the North Sea oil fields. The South Atlantic presents another magnitude of difficulty.
The mineral rights were a strong consideration Spart, yes, coupled with the fact that Thatcher was the least popular leader ever and the Falklands were a cheap price for 1000 young lives 👍
The UK was considering ridding itself of the Falklands in the early 1980s as the cost of the place to Britain was too high. They withdrew the Endurance which Argentina. itself with an unpopular government, took as a signal that they could invade.
It now costs more to keep as we have a permanent garrison there. It isn't a popular posting. The economic argument now is over fishing rights, i.e. which country can make fish extinct in the South Atlantic.
This week Britain slumped to the bottom of the GDP growth rate league table of advanced economies. Along with Italy, Britain is officially the worst performer among the G7 so far this year, held back by high inflation that is putting consumers under pressure. The cause of that high inflation is primarily the knock-on effect of the weaker pound, which dropped by 20% immediately after the Brexit referendum result last year.
THE CHICKENS ARE COMING HOME TO ROOST.
There are none so blind as those that can't see 3R.
I think it's a tragedy, I'm not going to foist my views on others but attempt to rebut, argue gently and cajole. However to me, the perpetuating that everything is ok, was ok and will be ok is scary. The most frightening thing is that people believe it and will continue to believe it even when losing their jobs, paying extra for shopping, bigger classes etc. etc. ad nauseum
People disappoint me 😫
You're right and when things go sour they will blame somebody else - not the disseminators of false information and lies (The Bus). Or Cameron for being harries by UKIP into allowing a totally badly thought out referendum. At the time he and George Osborne thought they could not lose. And they were wrong earlier when they thought they could not get a clear majority at the 2015 election and The Lib Dems would rescue him from the Referendum nonsense.
I and just hoping the pollsters get it wrong this time, with the big snag that Labour will be blamed for the bad Brexit effect.
I suppose the ideal result is a Tory win with a single figure majority which will kill off Mrs May's career.
PS I must learn to check the corrective text better. harried - not "harries". I am not 'I and"
By the way, there is no worse offender of being wilfully blind that arch Tory and Brexiteer - 666.
I have always voted Labour and may well do this time aswell but I do think that there is a bit of condescension about some of the posts on here. People are entitled to their opinions. Because someone has a different opinion doesn't necessarily mean that they are too stupid to realise that they have been manipulated by the media. It was precisely this patronising attitude that hardened a lot of people's opinions in favour of Brexit.
