The dismal thought of Jeremy Corbyn being prime minister is only dwarfed by the horrors of Diane FatBot being home secretary, it could happen people.

May said that if she loses 6 seats, she will lose the election and Corbyn will be Prime Minister. Can anyone clarify how that could be the case with 17 seat majority to start with?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She had 331 seats, a majority of +5 more than the 326 required to hold government. She's suggesting if she didn't get an overall majority (ie lost 6 seats reducing her to 325) Labour would form a coalition with the other parties big enough to form a government with Corbyn as PM. Basically she has no allies, except UKIP I suppose but they look like losing their only seat so have nothing to offer her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ukip have 0. they are losing nothing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
UKIP had one seat in parliament. Exit poll predicts them to lose it and have 0.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't their 1 MP defect a few months ago?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He quit but then the general election was called and so no party had any seats.

Turnout thought to be high in Hartlepool, a key marginal. Around 70%, top Labour folk tell @garycaltonphoto. That's up from 57% in 2015.

Now that would be hilarious. Corbyn using Sinn Fein to get a majority.

Yes, but there has been no bi-election, the seat has stayed with UKIP.
