Bombia your missing the fact that Pep is playing total football and filling the side with 11 trickywingerstrikers (yes I am including Goalies) its the ultimate conclusion of the Netherlands 1970's world cup squads.
I know Lee, but when reality hits in November we will need a defence. I love Sanchez but if his arrival was at the expense of Kun it is not a good swop for me.
Well if your going to be picky Bombia then we can move Ederson to the 5th wingback position and stuff Kun in goal.
No seriously I know what you mean but its good that we're not talking about it (the club that is). My major concern is that if you stuff more than 4 players into a team then the dynamics change until they get used to playing together. England is a grand point, everytime we reach a major final the press start putting pressure of to pick players x y and z who had no part in qualifying. If your Roy you cave in and get tanked and sent home early and to be fair its not just Hodgson who did this.
I do think we will see City play different formations in different games, 433, 4141, 442, maybe 3 at the back at times. For me the fringe players (Delph, Fernando, Garcia, et al ) really will only be League Cup players or subs to close out games. Assuming Gundogan is fit most of the season and takes the DM/CM role then it is hard to see much game time for many including Yaya.
Not sure if I believe the Sanchez thing but he is a wonderful player. A real match winner. I'm certain we are in for some fbs and a cb too. I'm excited. But then I was excited when we signed Kiki Musampa.
Amazing ball from Raheem must have travelled 40 yards plus, started off low and straight then gently curved towards goal as it decelerated
presenting Kane with the simplest of chances
Remember when people like Crocky seemed great signings? Happy days..... not so much.
