He may well have been the only candidate. We will never know.
The reality is if we were that bothered about Monk, Radz would have tried harder to keep him.
He didn't and has gone out and quietly got who he claims he wanted.
It is an underwhelming appointment - But so was Wagner and Silva.
Sometimes the appointment of a manager well known and proven (such as Warnock) can have the opposite effect

Will support the manager, even if I confess that I am not familiar with him. Provided that he does the best by the club then I have no qualms.
