He's a 23 year old kid who 4 seasons ago was playing semi pro football, now he's a Scottish international with 2 seasons of premier league football under his belt.
Don't think one Liverpool fan has claimed him to be the next Ashley cole.
He's already been called the next Bale
Decent signing. I had him in my Fantasy PL team for majority of the season so I ended up watching a couple of Hull's games. He's got a good cross on him and is sound defensively.
Most of the Man United fans on here won't have heard of him because he isn't a dabbing, instagram sensation

Left back we needed, we have a solid one now for £8m that will give us some much needed balance and pace.
If it's a LB who likes to attack that you're after, he's decent
If it's a LB who likes to defend that you're after, I'd have looked elsewhere
I'm not really fussed about finding a world beater LB. Robertson looks a decent signing to do a reliable job. Don't expect he'll let us down.

Robertson is a decent player tbf, his delivery is brilliant and he's upgrade on both Moreno and Milner for sure. He's one of these players who could excel in a better, well-coached team, he's certainly better than Hull IMO.
As for the article, we're not exactly in a position to laugh at another club full-back purchases, even if it is Liverpool. The the jury's still out on Shaw and Darmain's been pretty poor, just because a player isn't brought for 30 million + and doesn't have a "jazzy" name doesn't mean he isn't, potentially, a good player...

Willing to spend £70m on a single attacking player this summer but scrimps on a bottom half of the table left back
