Jose has almost definitely been sounded out by Newcastle I think his departure sequence been activated a lot earlier than usual.

That commentary is amazing.
His assessment of United and Ronaldo is usually off the mark.
Not really a fan of Ronaldo nowadays but this idea that he’s completely upset everything isn’t right when you watch how we played without him.

The Guardian crew's criticism of the elite sides is getting a bit tedious, but they can still be funny from time to time.
In addition, Wilson's been selling the Messi/Ronaldo demise for so long that he's cashing in now and won't pass up an opportunity to capitalise. He'll keep doing these United hatchet jobs at every opportunity this season, and has probably already written his piece for when PSG fail to win the CL.
That said though, and as much as United's football was poor pre-Cristiano, at least the results vs the big boys in orevious seasons were decent.
He’s too much of a Pep fanboy. He frames everything through the prism of what are his ideal tactical set ups, even though tactics are actually such a small part of what contributes to a successful team, that it’s hard to take him too seriously.
He’s as bad as the passion merchants that have long filled the stands in English football, but just on the opposite end of the spectrum and far more patronising with it.
Football lives in the shades of grey that neither of these seem willing to live in.
It’s looking more and more likely Ole is gone by the Spurs game, I don’t know why the useless board aren’t just getting rid already. If Conte does replace him God only knows how our team would look under him.

Their freakish number of draws caught my eye the other day. If they did go on to draw last night I think it would leave them W1-D9-L2.
