And Liverpool fans have genuinely tried to argue that the league is no weaker this season.

It's been as poor quality wise as I can remember.

Some people have argued it's because the smaller clubs have improved.

Not having it.

Stream for Lazio Inter if anyone needs one:

Yeah the smaller teams are still shiiiiit. It’s only Liverpool fans that argue it. Everyone else accepts is as they aren’t cultists when it comes to criticisms of their club.

Nazio win 2-1. It’s incredible they are still up there at this stage.

inter have the best chance of pipping rube to the title, shame they lost ground today

I haven’t seen much Serie A so can’t say. But Lazio’s form has been incredible, they’re unbeaten in 19 winning 15, they’ve conceded the least and are second top scorers. They have no cup competitions to play either so only have the league to focus on. Momentum seems to be more with than Inter right now regarding the title.

It is.

Can't see them being able to keep it up, although they've only the league to worry about now haven't they?

Yep just the league.

Had to win that.

Fancied us after seeing that Chelsea team.

We’ll lose to Watford now. Spurs haven’t looked that great under Jose from what I’ve seen, but you’ve got to fancy them for fourth now.

Given how the season has gone, any team who can put even a small run of wins together might give themselves the advantage.

posted on 17/2/20

Yeah true. Spurs seem to have just reverted to their normal level of consistency right now, even if a bit lucky, as they were by far the most underperforming team at the start of the season. Apparently only Liverpool have taken more points since the Special ne turned up.

posted on 17/2/20

Yeah they probably do look the most likely to put something together.

I'm surprised Chelsea's points lead has lasted until now.

At the start of the season I thought they'd struggle more than they have so far this season for goals. Their defence was always going to be an issue but although they've had their problems in the final third, they've generally fared better up front than I thought they would.

They had a massive lead after that good run they ahd between September and October, to be fair. Though yeah I don’t think anyone expected everyone to be so inconsistent that they’ve managed to stay in fourth despite their horrendous run since November.

What does everybody make of Barca being granted permission to sign an emergency striker?

How is it even being allowed in the first place ffs?

posted on 18/2/20

La Liga rules allow it for serious injuries. It’s a facking ridiculous rule, to be honest.

posted on 18/2/20

I did not know that.

I take it it's only a loan deal though?

posted on 18/2/20

No permanent. And it can only be a transfer between La Liga clubs.

That is insane.
