Liverpool aside, it’s a crap result for us. Really needed City to win here. Gonna be hard to overhaul Chelsea now.

Utd are probably a Sancho & Poch away from potentially replicating. I’d upgrade on Martial too.

Nah Ole’s better than Poch, don’t you know?

We need a lot of work to be a team capable of winning the title. Still too many holes in the squad.

I think City aren’t going to be a 90+ point team again for a few years and Liverpool will fade next year (is Afcon gonna go ahead?) I think 90 points will win the league one of the next two seasons

Has Fourzah left again??

From DimDons article

‘ I don’t care what anyone says, they are by far the best team in the country and are far better than City. City play pretty football and have a dogs** defence. Liverpool are bloody effective and not anywhere near a shambles in defence as City, hence winning the title by a huge amount of points.’

Has anyone ever said otherwise

I never thought we'd get as close as we've come to the top 4.

Before this run began I always thought our best chance of qualifying for the CL was through the EL and now it probably is again.

Dim Don

I agree there could be a drop off, but even ignoring our manager, we still don’t have a squad capable.

It’s gonna take a few years for us to get to the level required. Not just because we need many signings, but also because we’re relying on a lot of young talent as well.

Inter in advanced talks to sign Hakimi for €40 million.

That's a superb signing for Conte.

Dortmund will miss him a lot.

“Liverpool’s 30 years of hurt” on the BBC.

30 years that consisted of two CL titles, a cup treble and a handful of domestic cups. What sensationalist nonsense.

Tbh this is why I never understood the line from Liverpool fans when they said they're the unluckiest club in the league.

They'd literally won every single trophy there was to win apart from the league in these past 30 years...

"Unlucky" my Arsenal!

Yeah I mean teams like Sheffield Utd, Spurs, Everton or West Ham fit into that category.

It’a simple really, the cult have a victim complex.

Hakimi looks like the right footed Marcelo. Surprised Madrid would sell him.

FA Cup semis.

I think that went as well as expected given the team we had out in the beginning.

Issues with breaking teams down still? Nonsense.

We’ll need to play much better to beat Brighton. They’ve looked decent since the restart.

Yup.

mu52's turned into such a defensive lately.

He’s worse than Rob was with Mourinho or Moyes.

I saw him pull up Melt yesterday because he thought he was stating an opinion as fact but mu52 does it all facking the time.

I don’t know why people even care about stuff like that.

Do Madrid have any potentially difficult games left?

I know Barca have Atleti.

I can't see Madrid not winning La Liga. They've come back the better of the two sides.

they still have to go away to Bilbao, and a home match against villarreal (match day 37)

but they do have an easier run in than farza on paper
