Also Draymond Green was punditing on TNT and openly tapped up Devin Booker telling him to leave the Suns for a team more likely to win and now has been fined $50k
Tampering is such a bullshiiiiiit rule.
It’s ok in that it stops teams monopolising the league - but it is impossible to police in practice unless you’re and idiot like Green
Does it actually, though? I think comments from players and managers has a negligible effect on the decision making of a player. Agents are the kingmakers. And the way basketball is set up makes it hard to monopolise a league anyway.
Nah in bball the likes of Durant will agree with Kyrie to join as a big three at a random team. That’s what happened with the Lakers last year, Nets and Clippers this year and with the likes of CP3 and Harden at the rockets in the past I think.
2 members of atletis playing squad and staff have tested positive for covid
I bet their agents had far more to do with that. I know it was with LeBron.
rumour is the 2 are Oblak and Trippier
if Oblak is one of them, Atleti have no chance of winning it
How long before Jose kicks up a stink about not getting the players he'd asked for?
a: pre-season this year
b: shortly before the winter window
c: round about the time of Spurs' FA Cup exit
d: pre-season next year
Kubo loaned to Villarreal
Odegaard recalled by Madrid
Said to be considering recalling Ceballos too.
Good news all round.

yeah
i think the performance of our midfield against city may have caused the recall of these younger midfielders
hopefully odegaard is ready for us now
ceballos had a good last few months at arsenal too
F: after being knocked out of the Europa in the last 16 by AC Milan, and goes mental over Spurs’ football eritage in comparison to theirs and his own.
Didn’t think Zidane rated Ceballos. What about Reguilon? Marcelo is surely done now.

yeah he's played well this season at sevilla
i hope he gets recalled aswell
reguilon and mendy fighting for the LB spot shounds good to me
odriozola is also coming back after his loan spell at bayern (think he only played a couple of times with them though)
Wouldn’t blame him for telling Madrid to fack off.
Apparently Chelsea are interested.
Will be disappointed if we can't get Ceballos for at least another year, as he was superb for us post-lockdown and felt like he was really coming into his own.
However, I do understand Madrid's decision to keep him if that is what they choose.
If the FA Cup final was his last game for Arsenal, then what a way to sign out.
Adios, Dani
He’s not gonna play much for them. I guess they need to phase Modric out, but they aren’t really comparable players.
Ceballos is a nifty player and improved a lot under Arteta. But we need chance creators/goalscorers in midfield. He isn't that.
That’s why you’ve signed Wilner.
I’m surprised Arsenal haven’t looked at VDB. I know United and Madrid have shown interest, but it doesn’t look like he’d go to either club as a nailed on starter. He could provide a lot of qualities Arsenal currently lack in midfield.
I don't think he'd come to us - van de Beek looks like he's targeting an elite club and Ajax could command a huge fee for him that I personally don't think we'd be willing to pay. If we're not willing to pay £50m release clause for Partey, it's unlikely we'll pay that much or more for van de Beek.
Could be a huge signing though.
Lyon's Aouar and Salzburg's Szoboszlai were heavily linked with us. There was a period where Carlos Soler of Valencia was too, but those links seem to die down pretty quickly.
I don't know who we'll get tbh.
He means Willian, but he's saying 'Wilner' as in he's like a Brazilian Milner.
Willian = Milner = Wilner
Targeting elite clubs is all well and good, but there needs to be those clubs willing to sign him. And I cannot think of any that would give him the sort of game time he could command at Arsenal.
Though yeah finances might be a problem. Think about £40m is what he’d go for.
Milner’s better than Willian, to be fair.
