I really don’t understand how professional footballers can be so slow to pressure the opponent when they are in shooting positions. It’s nothing new, it’s been happening for years.

Did anyone see what they’ve done with the u21 Euros? They’re playing the group stages in March (the next international break) and then will finish it with the knock out rounds in May and June.

Speaking of youth football, United and Madrid have been drawn to play each other in the UEFA Youth League.

Makes sense to do it that way if they aren’t going to cancel it.

Would an extra week's worth of games during the summer make a lot of difference? If they're not going to cancel it altogether they might as well stage the whole thing.

Fair point although there's 4-5 days between the U21 final and the start of the senior competition.

Probably disappeared as Pogba and Shaw have been playing well. Hadn’t really noticed, bloke’s a priiiiick so I don’t tend to bother reading his comments anyway.

The u21 knock outs start the week after the season finishes, so there wouldn’t be time to squeeze a group stage in then.

Yeah the European club finals would be the problem, even if the competition ended on 10th June.
