Lucky it's him and not an available player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah that's true
better to get covid whilst he's injured anyway
nearly in the EL positions
Honestly, I've preferred the ropey league to the CL. Get to see our youngsters more, and don't get regularly pasted like we used to in the CL (2019 final aside ).
Need the CL for the moolah tho
Europa is great. Half our best players made a name for themselves in that competition, plus it’s a decent trophy to win (better than FA cup imo)
Also usually easier to go to Europa games (and cheaper)
Yeah, I'd definitely rather win the Europa over the FA cup.
Had that exact argument with a friend of mine a few weeks ago. Can't believe there's people out there who think otherwise (and I love the FA cup).

It sounds like there's going to be yet more managerial changes in Germany with Flick taking the Germany job and Nagelsman going to Bayern.
That follows Rose to Dortmund, Hutter to Gladbach and possibly Rangnick to Frankfurt although in what capacity isn't known yet. Quite a lot of change is set to happen at Frankfurt once this season is over with manager, sporting director and CEO all departing the club so Rangnick could well act as both manager and sporting director.
I thought Nagelsmann was going to Spurs?
That’s a lot of change at the top. Leverkusen will have a new manager as well, won’t they?
Yeah though I don't think they've found anyone to replace Stanley Tucci with yet aside from an interim appointment.

kept a clean sheet at anfield
Not hard.
Weird game. Madrid were poor for a lot of that and made no effort to attack at all. Got away with it due to some really poor bits of play by Liverpool. That last half hour was so comfortable for Madrid, though.
Valverde played very good at RB tonight. Have to give props to Asensio aswell as he helped out loads in covering Robinson's runs and helped Valverde from getting overwhelmed on that side.
Courtois MOTM tho
